Although our stay was only overnight, this would be the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Hosts Caroline and Robert made us most welcome. So many thoughtful details, the beautifully kept building and the character given by the decor make it very special. Breakfast was a treat! I can still smell that wonderful coffee and am sorry I didn't...

My response may be somewhat late but it is not without deep gratitude for your very positive review and I just wanted to let you know how much we valued such input. So glad you found it to be a good experience being here. Yes, well, you will just have to come back for a photo of that Italian Cafeteria...

We had a lovely weekend at Riviera. I booked it because I wanted something different to a standard hotel on the Gold Coast. Riviera is in the hinterland and a bit off the beaten track. The hosts, Caroline and Robert, made us feel very much at home. The breakfasts were excellent. As an unplanned activity, we stayed in one night...

Many grateful thanks for your encouraging comments that offer enquirers helpful information about our B&B. Glad you enjoyed the French breakfasts and French dinner so much that you recommend especially the dinner to others. It was especially fun to see that you and another couple from overseas enjoyed each other's company so much during that evening meal which was enhanced...

After struggling to find somewhere at the last minute this little place came onto my search screens. Yes i read the reviews and sensed that some negative ones were perhaps a little out of place and not completely genuine. We booked for 2 nights ... quick and simple (even though Caroline was in transit from a quick trip). The room...

Thanks a million for your very perceptive and helpful review. You touched on so many aspects of our B&B that enquirers will surely benefit from your input. It is so encouraging to read your positive comments and the enjoyment was mutual in talking together around the breakfast table. We hope you can make it back our way again.

10 of us stayed for 2 nights to celebrate a 60th birthday. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house was ideal for our purposes and we made good use of the guests lounge room. The breakfasts were wonderful and we had a magnificent birthday dinner. I can recommend this place without hesitation.

Thank you for posting such an encouraging review. I have to say your 60th birthday celebrations must have been close to being the Top Weekend for a group booking at our B&B. What was so special is that you even included us in the latter part of your dinner celebrations. We were very touched by the amazing unity and funloving...

I have stayed a number of times with my 4 dogs and have always been made to feel at home. Caroline is warm and friendly and the room was extremely comfortable. My dogs were allowed to sleep inside which meant a lot to me. Stef is friendly and helpful and the pool area is amazing. Will definitely be back!

Yes, we could see how much you enjoyed the pool area with your dogs! Thank you for your positive comments which encouraged us. You and I had a good time during those 2 weeks+ to enjoy each other's company and that was a bonus for me. I actually miss your fur children!

Riviera B&B is a beautifully manicured piece of paradise, with butterflies, birds and lush greenery all around. The pool is beautifully kept and was a hit with my little man. Caroline and her family are genuine in their care and love for their home and this is easily felt. They also have a genuine warmth and care for their guests...

Thank you so much for your enticing and descriptive experience at our lovely B&B. Yes, it was very mutual, that sense of warmth and care for your family and mine during your 5-night stay. We are looking forward so very much to having you stay again before you settle here on the Gold Coast. Warm regards Caroline

Disappointing to say the least. The place looks gorgeous. Tranquil, serene, and lovely attention to detail. Unfortunately this venue is uncertain whether they are a homestay or a commercial B&B. On the first day, we enquired regarding the promoted massages. We were told their son did them, he had a sore back at the moment, but they would get back...

Thank you for letting me know your thoughts. Yes, I was very aware that your situation was delicate after your dinner table conversation relating to your particular situation. You had been through an extremely difficult year that very few people have had to experience and you needed some special time to help you in that recovery process. I too am...

I booked a 2 night stay earlier this month as a surprise to celebrate my husband's birthday. As we had met in France as students 45 years ago, it was a delight to find such a gem. It's true, your stay was extra special with the French connection and particularly for the host, as we were able to speak French together with you.....my husband particularly enjoyed the long conversation he had with you both in his own language. These people were great at understanding my last minute mix up with a different hotel. They are such a welcoming family. The place was clean. I will personally be back, if not for the homemade jam, but because this place was one to remember.
