Exceptionally well run, clean, quiet and peaceful park. We had a caravan spot and a cabin. Awesome three days and we extended another night. The owners were lovely and friendly and made our stay perfect. Close to town and a courtesy bus from the Grand Hotel -what more could you ask for!!!

We were advised to stay at another motel in the area but they never responded so I called the MCCP last minute. The manager was extremely Helpful and found us a cabin. The first one didn’t have en-suite but the amenities were just on your doorstep. We enjoyed our time there and decided to extend. We were put in another cabin called the Kestral, this was a larger cabin and had an en-suite shower/toilet. It also had a double bed and a set of bunk beds.
We would certainly stay here again.

A very well looked after park. It's not flashy although sites are large and well maintained, amenities very clean but tall people might dislike shower heads, like I did (too low), and owners very friendly. This is what caravan parks should be all about. Didn't use the pool although very clean. We will use this park again.

We stayed here for 7 nights and couldn’t have been any happier with our choice. The owners are extremely welcoming, giving plenty of information on places to visit we hadn’t thought of. The park itself is very clean and well maintained with spacious sites. It is centrally located to allow a walk to the local town if you want, which is also a little gem. It is also an excellent base from which to visit many of the other towns and attractions in the region. We will definitely be back to this park in the future.

We stayed in a cabin on a drizzly evening, not wanting to set up our tent. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, booking us into a cabin at last minute, explaining sites and places in the township.
Our cabin was so comfortable, clean and quiet. We loved sitting outside on our back deck overlooking the back of the property. Saw lots of bird life.
We had a fully equipped kitchen to prepare our meal, fridge, TV, lovely hot shower and comfortable bed.
We would love to return and explore Cania Gorge National Park

We stayed 1 night here on way North & were very impressed with the friendliness of the owners. They were flexible in regards to our choice of sites & gave assistance with maneuvering our van into position. The amenities were spotless & overall, this was an enjoyable experience. We will return !!!!!

Overall we were satisfied with the place, although $125 for a small cabin seemed a little high. I guess proximity to the Cania Gorge National Park allows them to charge higher prices. It was a very cold night and the insulating and heating was totally inadequate. The BBQ was good and the staff were helpful.

Stayed for a night while travelling. Booked directly by calling the park. It would have been good to have additional info about the cabins and in particular the pricing on their website prior to calling to book.

Once I'd arrived Lesley was warm, welcoming and full of good information about where to get a meal and what was around town. Just what a traveller unfamiliar with the area is looking for. My cabin for the night, Original, was a generous size, bed very comfortable, freezer part of the fridge didn't quite fully freeze the big ice bricks but the small ones did ok. Sites around the park looked really generously sized and the bird watching was great. If bringing a van in future I'd absolutely consider this spot.

We needed a night in Monto so hubby could play socal bowls at the Monto Bowls club. We booked in here and were delighted at every turn. Our helper gave such good direction while assisting us in reversing our van into the site hubby said "I could listen to him give directions all day". Wow!! Amenities were perfeclyt clean, heaps of line space for laundry that we needed to do. Peaceuful site overlooking bush.Information on how to catch a taxi to town so we could enjoy a pub dinner and a vino without a worry. Highly recommend.

Stayed overnight in the double studio cabin and had a great night sleep. Very comfortable bed, clean modern bathroom (shower a bit too small) but great water pressure! Kitchenette had everything needed including wine glasses. Thank you for a bedside table and touch lamp each - little things like that make all the difference. Small fridge was big enough and had good size freezer with a working freezer door! TV was a bit too small makes it hard to read the TV Guide. Small shared and not so private deck with outdoor table and chairs so we moved chairs a few feet out to grassed area and enjoyed the sunset and the birds settling for the night. Have stayed before many years ago and you can definitely see the improvements and care gone in to the place. Can definitely recommend as overnighter, for a longer stay might be worth paying extra for larger bed/cabin and larger private deck.
