Service
Lovely quiet Camping & Caravan Grounds sitting in the beautiful Lockyer Valley. Pack the car, fishing rod and kayak and head to Laidley’s Lake Dyer. Prices from Powerd site: $31 Unpowered Site: $21. We have more than 2 dozen powered caravan sites and ample grassy camp spots. It’s easy to see why families love it. Conveniently equipped with all the modern cons like steamy hot showers, disabled ammenities, children’s playground, and picnic areas.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

we walk there daily from our home. Today we spoke to some caravan folk and heard that the amenities block is far from ok. They didn't like to complain but said since the male caretaker no longer has a job there the place is not really up to scratch. Such a pretty place even with very little water left. So many beautiful birds. Be nice to see our Council clean this daily and remove the broken branches that are falling off trees. We love this place and feel quite proud of it.

Spent an overnight stay at this location and was reasonably surprised by the facilities offered. Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing time under our awning and witnessed an abundance of itinerant and, potentially, local bird life. Good for a short stay if you wish to tour the Gatton and Laidley areas.

This is a well kept campground with signage everywhere to remind you of what not to do and what you can do. Unfortunately the lake was closed while we camped there but was well priced not too expensive. They have both powered and unpowered sites and hot showers and flushing toilets.

A must to stay for that great quiet weekend away. Site has Two very helpful and friendly managers, is well priced, $30. Powered site over holiday weekend. Amenedities are very clean, powered sites have cement slab, and lawns are immaculately kept. There are gas BBQ’s, places to have an open fire. Secure as park is locked at a night.
Looking for a great spot to stay, I fully recommend. No cabins. 10 minutes into Laidley.

We visited to check out the facilities.
Signage everywhere about what can & cannot be done.
Clean & tidy. Good toilets & showers.
No idea on camping prices. There are powered & unpowered sites.
Shame the water in the lake was very low.

Great place would be perfect when lake is open for recreational activities. Amenities are clean but limited. Really well run. Although there were some noisy people who obviously didn't care about the noise restrictions after 9.30pm.

Stayed for 2 nights following a WikiCamps find. I really wish we could have stayed longer had we not prebooked and paid elsewhere afterwards. Donna and Herb were just amazing hosts- friendly, helpful, personable. Facilities were exactly what was needed - lovely grassed sites, privacy, peace and quiet but no roughing it at all. Amenities were basic but sufficient and clean. Highly recommend this campsite for a low key, relaxing stay.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome, despite the signage. Herb and Donna did their utmost to ensure our experience was pleasant. Their attention to detail is amazing. They showed us to our site and suggested best use of the area to ensure some privacy. Our electrical leads were not long enough to reach from the power outlet to our campsite so Herb quickly provided one from the shed. They suggested walks and gave us details of local places and events we were interested in. The facilities are well maintained and clean and Herb and Donna are working hard to maintain the lawns to ensure Lake Dyer is an attractive place to camp.
