My wife, mother in law and two daughters stayed at the Best Western Ipswich to attend a family funeral. We could not have been more impressed with the wonderful hosts Evan and Jenny, and their kind caring attitudes. From what we could see this service applied to all of the other guests, not just ourselves. We dined most evenings in the restaurant, and were very impressed by the cuisine and atmosphere, which included Evans superb playing on his baby grand piano. We also had full breakfasts which were top rate. Overall it made a very sad time in an unfamiliar location a lot more bearable. Thanks Evan and Jenny!!

Although slightly in the higher range the cost is still reasonable given closeness to the city. Staff are friendly and obliging. Went out of there way to assist me in a time of personal need and assisted me greatly.

I was working in the area and had this hotel booked for me. It is a very well cared for and lovely hotel. The room was clean and looked as though it was recently renovated. It had all I needed for a two night stay. I ate in the dining room for dinner and breakfast The menu was safe but the quality and taste of the food was excellent. In the evening a pianist plays very well on the baby grand. An Enjoyable stay. The owners are also lovely and helpful.

The manager and his wife rang me in my room and wrongly accused me of very detrimental and scaring accusations. I booked this room for some downtime before major surgery, and instead it was an extremely stressful experience. I would never recommend any single female to ever stay at this place.

I booked a one bedroom apartment and paid a very high rate for two nights. This apartment had been renovated recently but there was mould in the tiny bathroom, the bed and the lounge was uncomfortable. There is no balcony and the windows open onto a courtyard looking into the opposite apartment High traffic noise but glad that we were at the back of the block

We were ordered out of our room 20 minutes before the check out time of 10.00. The house keeper came knocking on our door demanding us to leave. She then proceeded to reporting us to the duty manger who called our room and told us we had three minutes vacate the room. We went to the front desk and confirmed that it we still had more than 15 minutes before the cut off 10.00. She however apologised.

The gentleman at the service desk was lovely, he was always really friendly and even upgraded all of our rooms for free.
The little garden between the rooms is really beautiful.
Easy to access car parks on the property aswell.

I have just checked in to the hotel and am disappointed to find that the pool, which was a primary reason for my booking, is closed. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the room is not up to standard, with hairs in the bathroom sink and bath, and splashes on the mirror. The kettle is also full of limescale. I would not recommend this hotel to others and would have chosen a different one had I known the pool was closed.

Staff were wonderful and helped with all our needs. Room was lovely and clean and spacious. All equipment worked well in the room Pool was clean and we used it a lot. Great central location. Easy access off main road .

Stayed here for 5 days. New Smart Tv in the room, clean, very comfortable place. Nice pool area and good food at the restaurant (was closed over Christmas but I have eater here before). Friendly owners. All round best place in Ipswich.
