This motel is a modest one that allows visitors to quickly access central Ipswich and Queen's Park. The rooms are standard sized with a pleasant atmosphere. A ramp allows access to the first floor where most of the rooms are located and parking is underneath. The Managers are very pleasant and helpful.

The motel is an older style but nothing wrong with it. The room was clean and comfortable and plenty of space for the two of us. The reverse cycle A/C worked very well and was very quiet. It has everything you need in it. So long as u r not looking for a 4 star room this is perfect and I would happily stay here again.

I rang up this motel months ago to book a room for my sons wedding, I had read comments on hotels.com, about the noise, so when I rang up, I mentioned what I had read, so the manager told me he would put me in one of the quiet rooms down the back, which I appreciated. When I arrived I was given a room at the front, I mentioned my previous conversation about the back room, only to be told that there was a couple of guys from Germany doing a maintenance on a factory and she gave them the quiet rooms! It seems that no matter what you ask for, your NOT necessarily going to get it at this motel!

On arrival it was obvious the motel was being used for either emergency or long term living. Rubbish lying around every where. Car being repaired in the car park. Dogs on leads. It is not holiday accomidation. Ramp to room slippery and in a poor state. Broken glass in the window, room not cleaned as very dusty on furniture. Soap in bathroom was just an empty wrapper indicating it was not checked and cleaned properly. It is close to CBD but there is not much there. Described as being walking distance to several places but neighbourhood would not encourage walking at night.

This hotel is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in in 45 years of travel. Dirty, old and the rooms are only cleaned when the cleaning staff feels like it, with luck maybe 5 times a week. My room had a number of holes in the walls, the floor (carpet) was really dirty and I didn't sit on the sofa, too dirty. After 5 days I asked for coffee that I didn't get instead, all cups were removed. I swear this is no joke. If you have to stay in this Hotel I feel really sorry for you.

The motel looks nothing like the online photos and very misleading!! Unfortunately, the initial look of the motel is extremely disappointing and run down, unregistered cars in guest car park, unused and old furniture and a like sitting in numerous areas around the building and in eye sight.
Room way beyond any type of expected wear and tear!! Holes in curtains, cracked and smashed window next to bed, bed dipping in middle with unclean bed cover. Ramp to room unsafe and slippery. The motel is not having renovations, it is simply run down, unwelcoming and should not still be taking bookings!
No one minds older and clean, but for over $100 per night, this is a joke! I am not sure how the reception desk has an 8+ rating sign!? Not much phases me, but this is not somewhere most people would stay and relax..

After staying at a few motels in Ipswich we discovered Central Motel. It is only 3 stars so was not expecting 5 star room. The rooms are always clean, bed comfortable and anything that is wrong is fixed immediately. Gloria and Vincent are wonderful hosts. As our daughter is a IGGS this motel is extremely convenient to the school. Gloria has even gone and picked up a cake for us and taken it to the school for our daughters birthdsay. Like I said facilities are a little dated but I wouldnt stay anywhere else because the service is so good.

Booked 2 rooms for family to stay overnight for my dads funeral. Rooms were old, bed like sleeping on floor, electric jug was sticky tapped together and power point came out of wall when pulling my phone charger out. We ordered breakfast and it came 15 mins late and that was fine but my husbands cutlery had food on it. Rooms were sooo noisy. Julie was friendly and they had nice cats but whole place felt like it is more suited to someone that is used to staying in very poor conditions. Rooms were cleaned but masked by poor style. At 110 a night they were a 100 over priced.

Old style hotel Relatively quiet other than a neighbors dog waking the area at 0600 Main issue although a No smoking sign in the room was the stench of cigarette smoke in the room I wondered where it was coming from Then I saw the remnants of a butted out cigarette above the bed head YUK The cleaners should have picked up this unforgivable error Hope the other rooms weren’t this bad Rooms at the front facing the road would be noisy.

Stayed 5 nights. Room was clean and was of reasonable size. Contained all necessities for a short stay of several nights, crockery, fridge & microwave. The room was a little musty but bearable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to main Ipswich shopping centre. General room noise suppression was good. Pricing was realistic.
