Thank you so much for a lovely stay. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, a great shower with excellent water pressure and the little touches like the cereal so much appreciated. Thank you also for your assistance with late check in. Highly recommend!

The Gatton Motel is located right in the centre of town, next door to a major supermarket, bottle shop and within a short walk of pubs, restaurants and take away food outlets. It was great to be able to park the car and walk at the end of a day’s travel.
Our room was very well appointed with thought given to a traveller’s every need. Our hosts were friendly and helpful.
Gatton is a great regional town, full of places of interest and the Gatton Motel is an ideal base from which to explore the town and the wider Lockyer Valley region.

I stayed at Gatton Motel last Saturday night. The room was spacious ( Room 18) and clean, and the bed was super-comfortable. It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants. My only complaint was that I filled out the breakfast menu and dropped it into the box at Reception before 0700 pm, but I never received my breakfast the next morning, and had to go to McDonalds for breakfast, as nothing else was open! Wi fi was good and free. The old air-conditioner was very noisy.

Very noisy window rattler air-conditioning that just makes noise and doesn't cool. Noisy squealing children 5.00am. Very little sleep.
If your room number is higher than 9 the access and parking is terrible.
Bed okay. Shower okay. Easy walk to main street for a meal.
Paid way too much for this poor accommodation. I recommend you keep driving.

Booked on line with no hassles. When I arrived it was late afternoon and checked in. Went to my room. It was clean, fresh and comfortable. Waited for my friend to turn up and went out for dinner. Peta (owner) was very friendly and helpful. I wanted a late check out and that was no problem! I would recommend this motel. Its close to everything in town.

This motel is better than the impression given by its exterior.. The room we had was clean and I would think recently renovated. It was roomy and had an excellent shower. Meals can be ordered to your room and are of a reasonable standard.
The staff are friendly and helpful. There is no internet facility.
Parking iks outside your unit and is secure.

At first I was put back with the $120 charge for a country motel. Then checking out the room the second time when moving in my luggage I found the room had a lot to offer. The price may been effected by the fact that most rooms where taken up by tradies involved in building a new swiming pool for the town. But with a very nice shopping centre around the corner having a 5 minute walk and KFC accross the road the motel had location as a major drawcard. The room was neat clean and had coffee and biscuits on offer. The TV was a good size LED with a multitude of channels. Overall a nice place to sleep.

$125 for a very ordinary double even though it is only rated three stars. I guess because it was the only motel in town they can charge what they like. It was clean but had a noisy aircon. Recommendation would be to keep driving.

Whatever you do DO NOT book room 17 !!! The aircon is old and sounds like a tractor is running in your room all night. Its bad. Clean room. Mugs provided as well as small cups and saucers. A big supermarket and several shops are literally around the corner ( around a 3 minute walk.) KFC is straight across the road. It was way overpriced, $130 for a couple, a night for a very basic room (microwave provided) but it could have been because it was a Friday night of a long weekend.

Being the only motel in Gatton the tarriff for this accommodation seems based on a lack of competition rather than fair value. My comment is based on comparing the many motels i have stayed in throughout Australia & various other countries. However, the room was quite large & clean although old & dark and could do with at least a repaint. The bathroom had been partially renovated. Very old aircon unit. No internet & poor mobile reception. We pass by Gatton regularly but first time we have stayed there.
