We visited here to camp with our dog. The site is in a perfect location, nestled away from the main road in Esk, however it's within walking distance to all the amenities you need (IGA, Hotel, Bottle-o, coffee shop), and also right by the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, as my other half went cycling for the day during our stay. The welcome from the staff was very friendly and we liked the fact one of the campsite staff showed us to our pitch. No other campers had taken over our pitch (which has sadly happened to us before!). We chose a campfire-friendly pitch and it was over looking the bush and the unpowered pitches, so we weren't over looked - it was perfect for us.
The site is perfectly laid out, spotlessly clean and well-kept. It's obvious to see that the staff work tirelessly to ensure the camp is kept in pristine condition. The showers/laundry and kitchen areas were spotless and perfect, I loved the heated floors in the showers - nice little touch.
We didn't use the adult-only pool on this trip but will next time and what a great addition to a peaceful place. We also loved the fact its very dog friendly and everyone respects this and ensures they pick up after their pets.
One of my favourite parts was feeding the Lorikeets at 4pm daily, we went on a quiet day and it was just us feeding them - so special. We can't wait to visit again.

Hi Ali, Thank you for your glowing review! We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay, especially our peaceful location, campfire-friendly sites, and the close proximity to Esk's amenities and the BVRT. It's great to hear our team made you feel welcome and that you appreciated the spotless facilities and those toasty heated shower floors! We're so glad your furry friend felt at home, too – we love seeing happy pets around the park. The lorikeet feeding is such a magical moment, and it sounds like you had a wonderful experience. We can't wait to welcome you back for a dip in the adults-only pool next time and another relaxing ESKcape. Warm regards, Emily Willoughby General Manger

We, as a couple, traveled from the Sunshine Coast with our Shepherd dog, to meet up with a couple of friends from Sydney. We stayed in 2 cabins , ours was the pet friendly style and could not have been happier with the cleanliness and comfort of the cabins. A grateful touch was the air con was on when we arrived at our cabin, which made unpacking & settling in much more comfortable, on a hot, humid day The park is beautifully maintained and all the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The park was quiet, given the amount of dogs we saw, there were never any issues. This is our second stay here with our fur baby & would highly recommend this Caravan Park to everyone traveling in & around Esk. Esk itself is a quaint, interesting town with a fabulous breakfast served at the Enigma cafe. Coffee was too die for & the breakfast was hearty & delicious!

This was our first trip to Esk and from the moment we arrived we were met with warm smiles and genuine hospitality.
The grounds team took the time to stop for a chat and share their local knowledge throughout our stay which helped us explore the area in ways we wouldn't have discovered on our own – there are also some suggested day drives you can pick up from reception which was a great idea.
The heated adults-only pool was also a big highlight and completely unexpected. The water temp was perfect and we loved having a quiet space to relax with a book. The lorikeet feeding was also just outside the pool area – everything was just so convenient.
The camp kitchen had a nice social atmosphere, and we used the pizza ovens to cook our fresh pizzas (we cheated and picked ours up from the IGA which was only a minutes’ walk) and the free live music on the Saturday night was another unexpected bonus.
This place really is a hidden gem and I can't recommend Esk Caravan Park enough. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful little oasis.

We have stayed at Esk Caravan park multiple times & have had the pleasure of staying in the park with our own van, the motel(fantastic) & now the GLAMPING tents; & I must say they are an absolutely fabulous choice. It was a hot weekend, but with tent closed up & air conditioning on, it was beautifully cool, inside when we got tired of sitting on the lovely deck taking in the quite amazing view of the mountain . You are not really camping, it is so well equipped with everything you need, you feel like you are in a fancy hotel other than the walls are canvas. We also had a massive storm & you would not have thought you were in a tent, all dry & cosy inside. Easy walk to great eateries, ride bikes on rail trail this is definitely one of our happy places .

Thank you for your fabulous review and for being such a loyal guest of Esk Caravan Park! We’re so delighted that you’ve enjoyed various accommodation options during your stays, and it’s wonderful to hear that the glamping tents lived up to your expectations. It’s great to know that the air conditioning kept you cool and comfortable despite the hot weather, and that you could relax on the deck while soaking in those stunning mountain views. We designed our glamping tents to offer a luxurious escape while maintaining a touch of the great outdoors, and it sounds like you had the best of both worlds—even staying cozy during the storm! We’re thrilled Esk has become one of your happy places, with its proximity to the rail trail and local eateries adding to the charm. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another memorable stay soon! Warm regards, Emily Willoughby General Manager

This is a gem amongst caravan parks. Owners are friendly, proactive, and continually improving facilities which are at a very high standard. There is always something new when we visit. We go 4 or 5 times a year and have stayed both in a van and on-site cabins. Excellent camp kitchen, which is large, clean and has all amenities including pizza ovens, BBQ and huge fireplace for the winter. There are two heated pools, one adults only, both well maintained with nicely landscaped surrounds . A short walk to local shops, hotel and many people access the rail trail from this venue. They also have entertainment on weekends as well as other functions such as gourmet BBQ nights. Well worth a stopover if passing through or a longer stay as there is plenty to do around the area.

This is a friendly, clean, well-maintained caravan park that caters for a wide range of travellers. We had a free-standing cabin, but at the other end of the spectrum, there are unpowered camping sites, with all types of site in pleasant locations. The view to Glen Rock is beautiful and the staff were great. The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is enlivening this region and it was so good to just roll out on our bikes right near the trail and enjoy the perfect Queensland June weather. We’re early retirees and there were others our age around, enjoying the laidback vibe, but keen to hit the trail as well!

Love this park, but really disappointed at the rates we paid for the weekend. Usually $60-$65 per night, paid $77, and when I asked why, I was told it was because the park was full. No public holiday, and dearer than when we stayed there after Christmas 2023. Shouldn't they just have a standard rate? Not sure if we'll stay again.

Hi Lynne, Thank you for your feedback and for being a valued guest at Esk Caravan Park. We appreciate your loyalty and thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns regarding our rates. At Esk Caravan Park, we operate on a dynamic pricing model, similar to airlines, where rates are influenced by factors such as demand, season, and booking lead time; the earlier you book, the more you'll save. Your previous stay fell within our shoulder period, which typically has lower rates. However, for your recent stay during a peak period when demand is higher, our rates adjust to reflect this. We understand your disappointment and apologise for any inconvenience caused. We value your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve our pricing strategies. We hope this explanation clarifies our pricing approach, and we would love the opportunity to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay in the future. Please feel free to contact our team at any time should you wish to discuss any deals or discounts we may have available, or the most cost-effective times to visit the Park. Warm Regards, Emily Willoughby General Manager
