We have been touring our in our caravan for the past 3 months and in that time we kept coming back to Fisherman’s Beach Caravan Park. (3 times) Not only were we made welcome but our border collie was welcome as well. It’s great they have opened more sites for dog owners and you are not stuck down the back of the park. The park is peaceful, relaxing and spotless. You feel safe especially in these times of COVID-19. We found touring not all parks take COVID as serious. The location is perfect as you don’t need the car for day to day necessities as you can walk everywhere. We love the place so much we are coming back in November for another month. I’m sure it will not be our last time there. Thanks Kellie and Andrew

We Stayed in a cabin for 4 days and enjoyed the stay, staff were fantastic as we arrived a couple of hours early and we were allowed to book in and get some much needed washing done.
Our cabin was a nice size with Air Con, Good size fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee pod machine plus cooktop and all utensils and TV, our only complaint was the lounge chair was uncomfortable and vinyl which didn’t suit the climate and the outdoor chairs were also dated and uncomfortable.
Emu Park is a Quiet country town with plenty of shops and the town beach is patrolled by lifeguards, Yeppoon is not far away plus Roslyn Marina where you catch ferries to Great Keppel Island, There is a colony of Flying Foxes on park grounds which can be a bit noisy at dusk when taking off and early dawn when returning but we didn’t notice them from our cabin, in all a great stay and recommended for a relaxing holiday , If your looking for nightclubs and rave parties then Emu Park may not be for you

We have been here for the past two nights. I love this place as it is the best of both worlds. We have the beach at our fingertips, but once you come back up to the campground your stuff is not vovered in sand. The staff here are absolutely amazing. I especially loved the fact that we where greated by a border collie and this made me feel great about the place. We beought our little Jack Russel and she loved the place as well. The have a great camp kitchen for making that cup of coffe that we all know we need in the morning. The amenties here are also impeccable. They also have games, books and dvds too borrow. So to sum up want I have said if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Emu Park this is the place to stay.

Very close to the beach and Emu Park township. Front entry totally inadequate for volume of traffic and vans. Poor signage – virtually none for directions on entry and exit of park. Quick but impersonal service on check in. Limited access and tight turning required. Many obstructions to avoid. We had a dirt site (tiny pieces of gravel) although there are grassed sites. Some of the drains ran “uphill”.

New amenities excellent – older amenities adequate. Dump point had hand sanitiser nearby – first one we’ve seen with this which was a great idea as was the requirement of a credit card for washers and dryers. Price $4 ea. 2 laundries – both with 2 washers and 2 dryers each. Free wi-fi with password however reception continually dropped out.

Bat colony in the park was annoying with the noise – they were in the trees near the beach. Would concern nearby parked caravans. Did not affect us as we were far enough away (being at the main entrance).

Overall, we probably wouldn’t bother returning.

Fisherman’s Beach Caravan Park is well located on the beach just a short walk into the pretty little township of Emu Park. The township is well serviced with a good supermarket, bakeries, cafes, hotel and an excellent butcher. You also walk past the towns heated swimming pool in the pretty park between the caravan park and the township. The caravan park is well designed with large sites and excellent, very modern and clean amenities. The camp kitchen has a big new gas bbq. The dump point and laundry are easily accessible. We stayed for a week and it was a very relaxing stay. Our only negative comment would be that the park doesn’t allow disposal of seafood rubbish so we had to walk over to town to dispose of our prawn shells. Fabulous fresh prawns are available at the local fisherman’s coop shop a few kilometres down the road at Rosslyn Bay. We highly recommend this caravan park.

We have been staying at Fisherman's Beach Holiday Park off and on for the past 8 weeks, only leaving to try other parks in the area when our spots were needed for someone else. Kelly and Andrew are great managers who do everything possible to make everyone's stay as comfortable as possible. The amenities are always clean even during peak times, the park is very well maintained and keeping the grounds tidy is a 7 day a week effort by the staff who keep it always tidy and ship shape. The village of Emu Park is delightful and also very tidy and a short walk from the park, the beaches are also close by and great for walking. We hope to return here many times in the future.

We just stayed here overnight on the way up north. But we are so impressed with the camp ground and general area we will certainly be returning to spend longer!
Our site was backed onto the parkland that fronts the beach. We could hear the waves at night. Facilities near the entrance are relatively new, clean and inviting. Park management held a charity sausage sizzle ($2 per snag) that night so we didn’t need to cook. So pet friendly, every second person had a dog or two but we were not disturbed by them.

Fisherman’s Beach Caravan Park was an excellent place to stay. They had a really user friendly website which allowed us to book and pay online no problems. Staff were friendly from the start to finish. Our unpowered tent site was next to the beach access in a quiet little area, down the slope from the amenities. Amenities were extremely clean, modern and had all the COVID safety measures in place.
The camp kitchen closest to us had washing up sinks and a number of barbecues, plus picnic tables. Everything was clean. Great fridge and freezer too where we left blocks to freeze - and they were still there the next day!
It was a quick walk to the beach and shops, as well as the lovely foreshore ANZAC walk.
The only reason I didn’t give an excellent rating was that we were right next to the bat colony. They were very noisy especially at dawn and dusk, and woke us up early!

We've stayed in lots of cabins at caravan parks and felt this was one of the least comfortable. The low shower head and cramped shower made it difficult to wash. Also a tiny impractical basin. On the plus side, plenty of towel rails and instant hot water. The couch was low and uncomfortable but the bed was fine. Full size fridge with freezer was great. Microwave did not turn and seemed to be on its last legs. The park is right on the beach though no views due to trees. Cabins are right next to the entrance so a little noisy. Ten mins walk to town.

Hello and thank you for your candid review of our cabins and park. It seems as if you've had a few issues that have had a negative impact on your stay and this, in our book, is not good enough. I have forwarded on your issues with the cabin to park management to see if any of this negative feedback can be turned around and we thank you for letting us know. We will endeavour to make these improvements so that our next guests don't have the same experience. We hope you'll come back to try us again too, and give us another chance. Safe and happy future travels.

Emu Park is a quaint little place and the location of the park is good for walking and exploring the town. It was nice having the beach so close which is nice for walking (it’s not a swimming beach). We stayed in a cabin which unfortunately was a little disappointing. The queen bed was very uncomfortable and one of the bunk beds had blood stained sheets which was unpleasant. Otherwise it was a well appointed cabin.

Hello BekMull, I am terribly sorry that the cabin was not to the standard you expected and the stained sheet is absolutely not acceptable. I am sorry that this has been a negative stay with us for you and I have forwarded your feedback to park management for review. Obviously, even if a sheet is clean but stained it should not have been used. Thank you for letting us know.
