This was a Travel Auction package that we had, well what a surprise this was to us. Absolutely beautiful, the apartments were very well furnished, plenty of room, great facilities, including a washing machine and dryer. The manager and staff were very kind, and helpful, we rang earlier in the day to see if we could get into our apartment earlier than usual, and they kindly abliged. The apartments are only a very short walk to the main area of Rainbow Beach. You could leave the car in the garage and just walk everywhere, including to the main beach, to the Sandblower, and to all the necessary facilities that one needs or wants. We thoroughly enjoyed our little stay there. The only negative is that they don't have a golf club, but there's a bowls club. We hope to be back there one day soon. But I think we'll have to book early, as this place of Rainbow Beach is a unknown gem, hidden away from all the hype of The Fraser Coast. 💖❤🧡💛💙💜💚 loved it.…

Well what can I say about this magnificent place. It was such a great experience to stay at this beautiful property. Our apartment was fantastic, very clean, very spacious, the staff were very kind and they even let us into the apartment earlier than expected. Itwas a huge surprise to see a proper lounge suite that was comfortable. Rainbow Beach was itself a beautiful place to visit. It has great little eateries, beautiful beach walks. The location of these apartments are just a 2 minute walk from almost everything. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a great break.

Room was dirty calcium build up in shower and on mirrors had a mould smell staff were rude was our third time staying and have never been treated so badly. We had gone for a wedding and it left a rotten taste in our mouths. Staff need retraining and hotel needs a makeover

On an organised trip we stayed two nights in this place.Two floors of units , the lower ones have a small garden, the upper ones a balcony. The surroundings have a place to gather and eat together. The unit I got was very nice, a complete kitchen, and even a washing machine and dryer. My neighbours asked me for laundry powder as they didn't have any and also in my unit, there was none, .When we tried to seek help, there was nobody in the reception.But what made my feelings sour were the very strict rules: take your rubbish out, wash everything, and basically do the work of the cleaners.That is not my idea of a holiday apartment.Of course one should treat the place with respect and not leave it in a terrible stae, but what they demand is not pleasant.

We’ve been coming to Rainbow Getaway for the last eleven years and have never been disappointed. This year around though, things have changed unfortunately. We checked the inventory and noticed quite a few items were missing which we listed and promptly reported to the manager. In previous years there were at least 3 umbrellas and this year this was only one. Nearly not enough shade for a resort this size. BBQ areas had no cooking or cleaning utensils where this was previously were provided. The pool rules are clearly displayed on the pool gate but people still sit around with glasses of wine even though glass is prohibited. Large groups of people often gather at the pool with alcohol and are very noisy which is uncomfortable and not pleasant for families with younger children. I requested a quote for a booking for next year which I always do, when leaving. I have not received a response even after I have been following it up with an email. Having said all this, we have still enjoyed our stay, as Rainbow Beach never disappoints. …

We came up here to stay late Jan 2022, as this time of year can become less busy. We HV stayed here for a few years now, and why we keep coming back, is because with 2 teenagers, the accommodation keep them busy. The pool enough for a cool down, internet, walking distance to shops. The rooms are always clean, plenty of room, and it's a great price for us of 6. Marianne the Manager is so amazing and will go out of her way for you to enjoy your stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed recently for two nights and it was a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, great location, good facilities etc room had everything we needed including a small kitchenette with microwave, a washing machine and dryer. Parking spaces were very small but the fact you get a secure park is a bonus! Would definitely return.

What can I say except what an exceptional place to stay. Clean, convenient, well located, friendly comfortable accommodation. We arrived early and where let in. Close to everything, we had a Supermarket and 2 bottle shops across the road, a takeaway shop, a bakery, a club. 5 min walk to main street and beach. Beds are super comfortable, the water pressure for the shower is fantastic. Nothing bad to say at all, and the owners are really nice people.

We stayed for three nights in the Rainbow Getaway Holiday Apartments. The place is very comfortable with a nice little patio (we were on the ground floor). It was clean and well-appointed with just about everything we needed for our stay. I do have some suggestions that the owners might like to consider. There is only one usable power point in the kitchen area so it was impossible to run the water jug and toaster at the same time. A power board would be useful. A starter kit of tea, coffee and sugar is supplied and if you need more you have to pay. That is fine for one night. We stayed three nights and there is no discount for extra nights. Supplies should be enough for the duration of the stay. The place advertises cable TV but does not explain that this is actually pay TV unless you only want to view local channels. Overall we were very satisfied and would certain choose to stay there again.…

We stayed in Unit 6 a two bed room unit. It was great. Plenty of room and full kitchen and laundry. A couple of blocks back from the beach but close to everything and from the top floor we even had ocean views. Spotless and manages very friendly. Sporting Club and mini supermarket across the road and only a 5 min walk to the CBD and beach. We stayed only a weekend but it would be great for a longer stay as well. All facilities worked and fellow guests were nice as well.
