We had a ground level studio unit with very comfy outdoor sitting area. The units in this Queenslander are well designed, soundproofed and tastefully furnished. The gardens and grounds were quiet, lush and well tended. The attention to detail is rare and remarkable: from the quality of the bedding, the appliances and kitchen, the flash euro-bathroom, room fixtures, and the fast WIFI. Great location, walking distance to shops, beach, and trails. Overslept! a good sign. Bravo and thanks, Debbie.

My wife and I stayed here two nights on our way through the area. We were accommodated in a three bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a large balcony. This was an upgrade from the smaller two bedroom apartment we had booked; however Debbie kindly asked us to leave the two spare bedrooms and second bathroom alone as much as possible to reduce their cleaning after our departure. My wife and I were happy to oblige, especially considering the cooking capability we were now provided. There was a kitchenette and fridge/freezer inside, along with a double sink and a dishwasher. The balcony was appointed with a separate stainless steel cooking area with a double electric stove top, a bar fridge and additional utensils for cooking and eating.
Mosquito coils and candles were provided, along with a small amount of milk, tea and coffee.
The rooms are amazing, the master bedroom with king bed was spacious and the bathroom was large and just felt so clean and bright.
The location is about 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area and beach, and about 10 minutes from the Wolf Rock Dive shop.
My wife and I will definitely look to stay here again next time we pass through.

Debbie's Place is a haven of substance and beauty. A lot of thought has been put into the accommodation which you can tell by the design and the quality of the place. The bed is one of the most comfortable that we have slept in during our road trip, and everything from the kitchen utensils to the bed linen is top quality. There are also thoughtful little touches, such as the outdoor mosquito coil burner and air freshener in the bathroom. The room is also exceptionally clean and tidy.

Location-wise, it is a short walk to the main beach to see the Coloured Sands, and there are eateries and shops just across the road (I recommend the pizza joint).

Debbie is a woman on the go, juggling several things at once but she is always a phone call away if you need her. Good communication.

Overall, it is a place that I would re-visit and highly recommend.

We stayed at Debbies before our morning departure for Frazer Island.

What a lovely lady! Welcoming you in as soon as you arrive then explains everything and shows you to your room. All rooms well thought about - you have your citronella candles out on the balcony, toiletries in the bathroom, coffee machine, fridge and a very comfy bed.

If we ever get to visit Australia again when this pandemic is over we’ll make sure to stop here again.

My girlfriend and I from Ireland stayed at Debbie’s on the 21st October as it was the only place which wasn’t booked up fully after missing our bus due to serious floods in the area. We were made feel at home from the very start after she offered to throw our wet clothes into the dryer and also gave us some milk for a cup of tea. We stayed the night there - the room, bathroom and shower were extremely clean and tidy, everything you needed as a backpacker was in it. We didn’t want to leave, it was amazing!!! The following day as we checked out for our bus the rain came down again so she offered to drive us over to the bus stop when she didn’t have to go out of her way at all. We actually couldn’t believe it!! She was such a lovely host. If we are to come visit rainbow beach in the future we will definitely book in with Debbie again.
She really is an angel.

We had booked 2 rooms. One of our friends decided to join us for part of our trip and when we checked in Debbie provides us with a 3 bedroom unit which allowed our friend to have a separate room. The room included kitchen facilities which we used for breakfast and had a nice deck to sit and have a drink in the evening. Debbie allowed us to check in a bit early which allowed us to check out the Town right away. This is a great place to stay and Debbie was a great host and provided us with lots of information about the area.

Debbies place a warm and cosy refuge from the miserable weather.
Very clever use of space with front veranda tasteful converted to outdoor kitchen with out compromising space.
Tropical garden providing protection from the weather without being invasive, would be magical with fine weather.
Exceptionally comfortable bed with views out to the tropical garden.
Large modern doorless shower, bright, clean and spacious, only negative for us was the lack of bench space for our toiletry bags but will be easily rectified.

My husband and I just stayed overnight at Debbie’s Place. What an absolutely delightful stay. I cannot fault it in anyway. It’s spotlessly clean with attention to detail in all aspects. The location is perfect and Debbie was helpful offering advice on what to see and do around Rainbow Beach. Highly recommend and we will definitely return thanks Debbie for the delightful stay. We stayed here for a couple of nights. It is a small B&B style place minus the breakfast. We had a room with a kitchenette (microwave and mini fridge) and a porch with a dining area and outdoor gas burners with pans for cooking. Bedding and towels are provided and beach towels upon request. The place was very clean and comfortable. There is no daily room clean if that matters to you. Debbie, the owner, was friendly, chatty and hospitable. She recommended the sunset at Carlo Sand Blow and even dropped us off and explained how to walk back (15 minute walk). Suzanne, the on site manager, was also very nice. The place is for sale, so hopefully the new owners can maintain the friendly charm and quality of the place. There were about 8-10 steps to get to reception, to get to our room and to carry up your luggage. This was not a big issue for us, but may be for others. There was a bakery, pizza place, gas station, small grocery store and Seafood restaurant within a few minutes walking distance. The beach was about a 15-20 minute drive, but we drove as it was way too hot to walk. Parking was free on Rainbow Beach.

My husband myself and my assistance dog ruby stayed at Debbies Place two weeks ago, and I have to say it is the best place we have ever stayed in in a very long time. I am wheelchair bound and in a power chair and from the driveway to the doorways and all inside, just perfect. Debbie is also such an accomodating lady, very social, lovely to speak with and will make sure your stay is to absolute perfection. We will definately be going to stop there at least once a year or more if we can. So anyone with a family or a pet and thinking of going to rainbow beach, Make Debbie’s Place your first and last stop to stay at you wont regret it. Thank you Debbie from Ian Ruby and myself you made our short but sweet stay very pleasurable.

Debbie allowed us to leave our car at the rear of her property while we did a 2 day trip to Frazer. Debbie even dropped us to the pick up point (we went with DropBear who are amazing too). Debbie's place is really lovely so I'd recommend you stay there. Enjoy your trip to Frazer - its stunning!
