Great, spacious rooms, very clean, great views. Doesn't come across in the photos. Check-in was very uncomplicated, key was stuck, check-out also, you just go and leave the key there. At the pool area, a few beanbags or loungers would be nice, but sufficient for a short refreshment. The communal kitchen outside is always as beautiful as everyone maintains it.

We found Escape 1770 to be a perfect getaway. Perched high on the hill surrounded by well maintained tropical gardens the Escape is stylish. Our spacious room was very well appointed and the views of sunset and sunrise from the deck was awesome. Very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend.

A beautifully located small motel with only 4 rooms. Very helpful and friendly service, immaculate gardens, and stunning view. Be aware that due to location TV reception can be intermittent Our suite had a main room with large queen bed and a second room with two singles. It was peaceful and quiet but only a short drive to local restaurants

I found this gem through Booking.com and we are ever so grateful we did! Small boutique adults only hotel with the most incredible views. we had rm 4, a 2 bedroom, large bathroom w/shower, a small refrigerator and kettle for tea and coffee- with a nice balcony overlooking an incredible view ❤️ His prices can’t be beat for all that you get in return There is a pool and jacuzzi next to the outside common area which includes tables and chairs, kitchen,stove/oven, a pantry which has all the necessities to prepare, cook and enjoy your own meals- Lorenzo has thought of everything! Such a treat if you want a break from eating out... But if you don’t, there’s plenty of places down the hill to enjoy a good bite
The host/owner of the property, Lorenzo, truly a great guy, was awesome. Helpful and friendly in his demeanor, direction and suggestions, as well as being the resident surf instructor with his company, Gnarly Tours Surfing, which we took advantage of! Great afternoon on a private beach and yes, we got up 😎 🏄🏻♀️ thanks mostly to him and his partner Jake, so much fun, we highly recommend! This could well be Agnes Water’s best kept secret. Spacious and well equipped room with amazing views yet close to everything. The pool area was lovely and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views and the sounds of the local bird life. Lorenzo our host was extremely helpful and happy to share his local knowledge. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and relaxing stay in a peaceful location. Thank you Lorenzo for a great stay.

This is a good spot to stay in 1770 / Agnes Waters. The place could do with a refresh. The host was very helpful. The location ensures that you benefit from the breeze on a hot day. There was outdoor seating that complimented the spacious indoor living area.

really enjoyed the hotel. The room was spacious and charming with high ceilings and a big bathroom. The view was magnificent. Gardens are immaculate. Kitchen area and pool are really very pretty. It was great to be able to cook and store food out of the bedroom areas.

Found Escape 1770 on booking.com and stayed upstairs in room 4. Room was well equipped, shower was excellent being large enough to share with a friend, great water pressure and nice and hot. Just what was needed after a long day on the road. Balcony offered great views and was very peaceful to watch the sunset over Agnes Waters. Bed was large, a little firm (as we prefer a softer bed) but a great night sleep had. Great find.

Just spent 3 nights with Lorenzo at this fantastic place. From the moment we arrived Lorenzo couldn’t do enough for us, the rooms are excellent, beautiful King beds, fantastic communal kitchen which we made great use of. The views are sensational and very close to the beach and all the shops. He even loaned us a couple of boards to go for a paddle. Will definitely be back, thanks mate.

We stayed for two nights and found the setting lovely, views great, room large and comfortable. Sitting up in the kitchen area with fish and chips in the evening is definitely the way to go. Lorenzo was very helpful when making the booking.
