We considered stopping here on our way back from Uluru but the razor wire put us (me) off. The shop owner/attendants were pleasant though and we found the "UFO" and "aliens" out the front of the petrol station comical. The amenities were clean if you use the ones on the inside (purchases must be made) and as I said they... More

We'd been wanting to stay here for awhile but when we did it was very disappointing. The price they charge for a caravan site should be under $25 not what they want. The 2 amenity blocks were filthy, showers leaked, not enough toilet rolls,If this is a Big 4 Park then they should be disgusted & inspect their parks more regulary. If the quality of... I was looking forward to staying here however was quite disapointed at how run down it was. I was also disapointed about the riff raff hanging around at the servo out front.....saw them sniffing cans and spitting inside their own car. I could hear them yelling at each other from our motel room for a few hours plus the satelite... More

We stayed a night at the Wycliffe Well Holiday Park a few weeks back as we had seen it on a Canadian travel tv show called Departures and thought it looked like a hoot. The caravan parking was a bit pricy for what you get, the UFO and alien paraphernalia is neat and I believe we are not alone in... More

New management. Clearly they have their work cut out for them. Obviously good in its heyday, but very rundown now. Very very sad donkey in a dry enclosure - I came away concerned about its welfare - along with a one legged Corella in aviary desperately needing cleaning. As a group of 5 we stayed in a basic cabin with... More

I'm a huge nerd and was quivering with anticipation to get here and see it after hearing so many cool stories. What a let down. We had intended to stay but after seeing the very ordinary and in dire need of a paint job exterior we decided to keep going and stayed in Tennant Creek instead. I looked at all... More

We stopped for breakfast on our way from tennant creek, had just eggs on toast, it was okay but not worth the $12 we paid. We had intended to buy a couple souvenirs for the folks back home but everything was so overpriced we skipped it. We tried to look for some info on the ufo side of the place,... More

Stayed here in 2012 and it was very nice, clean and well run. Stopped out the front this time and were confronted by a run down dump of a place. Inside was grubby and everything way overpriced. Had intended to buy 4 stubby coolers but at $12 each for the cheap and nasty ones on display, gave it a miss.... More

On the outside it looks very run down. On the inside it is well kept and clean. We had a cabin and powered site and both were great. We even had a band the night that happen to be staying there and provided free entertainment. Don't be put off by the outside
