Detailed Reviews
We went to the Pine Creek hotel last Saturday night for dinner as we were working nearby and both had the reef and beef.
Great scotch fillet cooked to perfection with a few big prawns and a really tasty sauce.
A couple of cold beers to wash it down and we were done.
We'll be returning this weekend for another lap as I highly recommend this hotel for a really good meal.
Enjoy

The food here was unexpectedly wonderful! We knew we’d be getting into Katherine a bit too late for dinner so we decided to stop in at The Pine Creek Hotel on the way through and I’m so glad we did. The blokes had steaks, chips and salad and were really pleased with the quality of all the food. My friend had the barramundi fettuccini and it was so fresh and delicious with melt in your mouth pieces of fish, fresh slices of garlic throughout, and even the pasta itself seemed homemade it was just so good.
My arancini balls were delicious too and I’m pretty sure the semidried tomatoes were home dried. Just amazing quality food all round.
I wouldn’t rave about the setting or decor, but if you just want good quality food and friendly service at a reasonable price, then this is your place.

Best place to stay in Pine Creek. Food was amazing, the chefs daily specials every day were incredible and very reasonably priced. Best tap beer selection in the area as well. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 will definitely visit again.

We stayed in a pleasant motel room looking out onto a colourful garden. A brief walk around the corner takes you to an equally pleasant bar with outdoor seating and friendly staff. We only stayed for one night but it was clean and quiet.

The best chicken parmi in the NT. Order a parmi from John the Chef. Do it. You will not regret it. Meals are huge, staff are lovely. Great local history. Not a fancy place but the quality of food and service

Stayed for a night on a birding trip. Comfortable rooms with all the necessary facilities. The hotel itself is friendly and relaxing with a good choice of beers on tap. The restaurant has fantastic food at affordable prices and should not be missed! Our host was incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!

Mine host is a mountain of man but a gentle giant.
A really great place to stay and the cliental are the mining type but very friendly and full of good cheer. The lady of the house is the daughter of the famous writer "No Place for a Woman"
The brekfast menu is second to none and sleeping quarters are away from the hotel in a quite location.
If you are familiar with country hotels then you will like this one.
A lot of interest here and if you like people and a good joke you will probable stay awhile.
Tell them Tom From Excalibur sent you and you may get a belly laugh and a drink on me that Iwill pay for when Iam next in the area.Have a nice stay but don't drink and drive .Stay awhile and enjoy the .

We stayed here on 29th June 2014 for one night, due to our hire vehicle breaking down on the Kakadu highway. The owner of the motel kindly helped us out with lifts to and from our vehicle once my son and husband had got a lift from a passing motorist to Pine Creek (we were stuck about 35 km away on a Sunday night - no taxis or mobile phone signal). Whilst waiting for the rental company to sort us out with a tow truck we enjoyed the barbeque and booked the last room at the motel for the night - meant for three people but the owners were happy to let the remaining two of our party sleep on the floor as there were five of us. In the morning we had a suberb breakfast at Maisee's diner next door (which I think is part of the hotel) and were told we could keep our room as long as it took for us to get organised with an onward trip to Katherine to get the vehicle sorted out. We eventually left at 11.30 a.m. the next day. As I couldn't find an email address to write to, this is a big thank you to all the staff for being so friendly and helpful and providing us with a comfortable room in our time of trouble! The room was clean and quiet and the only little niggle was the toilet flush which needs a bit of attention as the cistern kept filling up! But nothing to the problems we had with the car. So thank you again Pine Creek Motel, we have fond memories of you.

We went to Pine Creek and stayed two nights.
They have quite the chef in residence.
My partner had pork ribs which were sensational so tender and tasty they had been smoked and they were delicious. I had a gumbo which was also great, smoked chicken prawn and chorizo.
We stayed at the hotel and then went to Edith falls for a swim. As well as doing a few look outs and touristy stuff in and around. It's a great location.
In addition it happened to be the chefs birthday party when we were there and I everyone at the pub was so welcoming and involved us in the party.
Such a friendly pub with amazing food great place to stay when you want a break from Darwin.

Unfortunately Barbara is confusing pine creek hotel with another venue in town
As there is no pool at the pine creek hotel. There are how ever plenty of swimming holes near by
Just ask the staff
Sorry but we didn't stay here,we just went for meals which we can really recommend, the beer & wine are spot on too.
