Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked 5 nights to see the sights around Batchelor and checking was such a warm welcoming experience with the new owners. We chose to have a powered site in the stunning lush tropical bush area which has huge big sites. The park is spacious and well equipped and the pool is well maintained, we really enjoyed our swim and chat with the owners who gifted us some freshly caught fish! My gosh, we were going to move on to different parks while we wait for property settlement but the owners offered us an alternative option for a longer term which we gratefully have accepted. Will write another review in another month when we expect to finally move in to our new home

We were a family of 3 who spent 2 nights here while visiting Linchfield N.P. We stayed in an ensuite cabin. It had everything we needed. We brought some frozen meals with us, put them in the little fridge and microwaved them for dinner-easy. Next door is a service station and somewhere we could get beer and essentials. There is bird feeding morning and afternoon (afternoon seemed to bring more birds when we were there). There is a little putt-putt golf course going around the pool (pool was open our 1st day but closed the 2nd). This caravan park is quiet and has an old school vibe. It's nothing fancy but does the trick. We'd stay again.

We wanted a short break and not far away so we checked around and we picked the Bachelor Holiday Park. We heard there was a new management and we gave it a go. We were very pleased with our dec ision because we had a great break and we enjoyed the park very much. We were with another 8m friends and we stayed in 3 villas. The accomodation was very clean, all utensils and crocery were brand new, the palce is clean, with large grassed areas and lots of trees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The BBQs were fantastic and we enjoyed cooking there. Overall the park was excellent and we will c vertainly come back again and we recommended to all our friends and tourists. thank yiou guys.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom "luxury" villa and all I can say that, whilst these may have been luxury when they were built, they are desperately outdated now. The bathroom looked like something out of the 1980s and the bright fluorescent lighting as unappealing. It was clear that they were short-staffed and the cleaning of the villa was not good - plenty of cobwebs and dead bugs in the corners of each room and dust in the wardrobes. The pool was so uninviting that we never dared venture anywhere near it. We used the laundry and the central amenities block looked like a 1970s school yard toilet block. There were 3 washing machines and only 1 dryer - thankfully we got in early and managed to get our washing done. The owner is a nice old bloke - friendly and helpful - but he is clearly at the end of his working life and probably overwhelmed by what needs to be done to bring it up to standard again. Hopefully, he can sell it to a chain/franchise and they can invest the money needed to make this place great again.

Hello Happy Travellers, stayed 2 nts on ensuite site & found that it had NOT been cleaned & NO toilet paper, we advised them & were told they were short staffed, but that did'nt stop them from charging $65 per nt. The ONLY good thing about this park is that it is walking distance to the Bistro @ Litchfield Resort. If you have the choice look else where. Bon Voyage

We booked an ensuite powered site for 2 nights as we thought it would be nice to have our own toilet and shower. The large grassy site was nice, but the ensuite was not worth it. Due to staff shortages, we had to go and ask for toilet paper and soap, and clean the basins ourselves (the outside one was filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite some time). The shower was barely lukewarm, so we ended up using the communal showers anyway, which were primitive and uninviting. The communal bbq was disgustingly dirty, the camp kitchen very basic, there's no dump point (although there's one in town), and the wifi was useless. If I came to this area again, I would definitely stay elsewhere.

On arrival we were told we did not have a booking. We proved that we did and had paid a 50% deposit. The cabin was hotter inside than outside even with the air conditioner on its coolest setting. It was sited to get the full force of the afternoon sun. The double bed was pushed against the wall and could not be moved out without blocking the doorway to the bathroom. The sheets on the single and bunk beds were dirty. Although the cabin slept 5 there was only enough cutlery for 2 people. The shower alcove and shower head were mouldy. The light fitting was full of insects.

Cabin was clean but dated. Comfortable, but the second bed was only a fold up. Bathroom exhaust fan was quiet noisy. Good facilities and very quiet at night. Easy to find on the highway. Staff were friendly. Easy to make booking online, well presented website.

Very disappointing stay. We stayed 3 nights in cabin number 2. Cabin looks like an old shipping container from the outside. Entering the cabin we found it was terribly dated and dirty. Bugs in every corner of the cabin and around the light fittings. Bathroom in terrible state , mouldy with bugs against the ceiling. The only plus I can give is that the airconditioning is working well and beds were okay. Definitely not returning.

The cabin had everything that we needed and was very comfortable. Make sure you go to the bird feeding which was interesting plus we played mini golf which was a bit of fun. The wifi was not reliable in our cabin but it was better if you went near the office
