Driving into the small outback town of Tibooburra from Broken Hill ensures you are aware that this is outback Australia. We stayed in delightful accommodation provided by Tibooburra Beds and Camping. and enjoyed terrific coffee and breakfast (porridge) at the Corner Country Store where the service was friendly and were we were made to feel really welcome. The large dining area was well set out and clean with many visitors loving the experience. The evening meal was enjoyed at the Family Hotel where you can listen to the barman talk about Clifton Pugh and Russell Drysdale's fantastic murals on the walls...go there just to see this unusual gallery. A great outback experience.

We camped here in July 2020.... All amenities (including fire pits...) were excellent and we had a very comfortable stay. The staff at the Corner Store provided great service... They provided guidance on how to get to Cameron's Corner and the Sturt National Park.

This small motel was a delightful stay. The room was large (room 2), with a huge comfy bed. The modern bathroom had quality fittings. Sofa, table, tea-making facilities. If you arrive in Tibooburra from the desert and Cameron Corner, this is such a luxurious place to stay. The walls are thin. Highly recommended.

Obviously expanding their camping facilities we found ourselves in what was literally the back yard of a shed. Initially concerned, we went ahead and put up the tent and while the shower/toilet facilities were basic, they were clean and comfortable. Obviously there is more to this place than what we experienced and judging by the reviews. As it turned out, we shared the spot with two other campers and it was a comfortable night. Owners just need to be a bit more specific about what they are offering which is good, but not what the weary camper might be expecting.

We only stayed one night at this wonderful motel in Tibooburra. We had thought we would be staying in the usual motel style accommodation, so we were delighted to find this large, clean, very modern and comfortable unit. There was a large living room, separate king size bedroom and the bathroom was extremely spacious with a very good shower. We could not fault anything and would highly recommend staying here. It was also only a short walk to have a meal at the pub.

We stayed in room 3 and our friends stayed in room 2. Room 3 was slightly bigger than room 2 but both rooms were exceptional with modern classy renovations in the living/sleeping areas and large ensuite. Everyone, including of course the lovely Vicki, is friendly, helpful and welcoming. We stayed a total of 3 nights and ate out at each of the 2 pubs (walking distance) and both were good. The art work in the Family Hotel has to be seen to be believed.

Great room, clean, and modern. The room was serviced daily. The air con was as cold as my ex wife’s heart.. lacks sitting area outside. Vicki is a wonderful host who makes great food at the corner store.

Well, let me tell you after a long day's exhausting travel we stopped at the Tibooburra corner store around 5.30pm. With options running out fast for setting up camp before dark, we tried our luck at the Tibooburra Family Hotel which was completely booked, when i bumped into Vicki at the petrol pump. i asked, "Do you have rooms for three families?" to which she replied, "i do!!" Let me tell you, we were so happy and pleasantly surprised by the beautifully appointed rooms and a bloody hot shower!! Thanks Vicki - you made our stay at Tibooburra a memorable one!
