Unique property but not properly maintained[eg collection of dead flies next to the window in the dining room which were not removed during our stay] and some staff surly and unhelpful. . Despite having their own vegie garden ,strawberries left to go rotten and available produce grown in the garden were obviously not used. When questioned about strawberries told were...

We walked around the 1840s Seahorse Inn when it was a construction site nine years ago. Set in lovely grounds looking out onto Twofold Bay, the original inn has been sympathetically extended to include a second floor, bistro at one end and dining room at the other. The public areas - cocktail lounge, bar, dining room and bistro and outdoor...

Let me start by saying this is a wonderful location for a romantic weekend away. There is little bad one can say about it USUALLY, the service, the location and the wonderful old world charm is second to none. However on our most recent stay (July) there were a few issues with the state of our room & bathroom. It...

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. It has views across Twofold Bay to the ocean, with Eden on the other side of the bay. It is very quiet (at this time of year anyway), as the hotel only has 10 rooms and is away from the town. The common areas: the bar, lounge, dining areas, outside...

First off, the Seahorse Inn has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel--and my aunt and wife agreed about this. As for the property, it's gorgeous--situated on a nice beach with terrific views. The rooms were very, very clean and looked great. So why the 3 stars? Well, it could have been a bad day and...

This was a lovely hotel with all of the thinks which make a comfortable stay. We enjoyed meals which were prepared with love and care. The view was spectacular and the beach was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay with the only complaint being a leaking shower and the phone which didn't connect to the reception. Breakfast included a...

We were extremely happy at the Seahorse Inn and are so glad we booked. After reading some of the picky reviews on here we were a little hesitant, but were thoroughly surprised by this amazing place. Amazing location, stunning hotel, friendly staff. We were in a loft room and it was perfectly fine: nice big window, fabulous bed, quiet and...

We thoroughly enjoyed our long stay at the Sea Horse Inn. It is wonderfully located with direct and unimpeded views of Two Fold Bay and direct access to the beautiful crescent shaped beach. The grounds were lovely, with a tennis court and outdoor dining and relaxing areas. The cooked food was excellent, with fresh produce from the Inn's large vegie...

Average service and food but being told to go to your room at 8.30pm as they were "locking up the main area" was the final straw. $220 a night! Find somewhere else to stay because here was the pits. Great locale terrible hotel.
