We know why this is called the Sapphire Coast – this region is a true gem. Three hours from Canberra and set on the magnificent shores of Twofold Bay, your accommodation at Discovery Parks – Eden (formerly Twofold Bay Beach) awaits. Drive down to Sung Cove in the early morning and you’ll see boats arriving with their catch. The rugged beauty of Ben Boyd National Park is something to behold. Feeling adventurous? Try the multi-day Light to Light Walk. Even a small section of the walk will impress, as the views are ever-changing. Ben Boyd’s lookouts are excellent for whale watching (May-November) or tour the Eden Killer Whale Museum.

I cannot fault my time here at the Park. Shay the staff member who checked me in was super friendly and after the long drive I had it was a breath of fresh air. Booked for 2 nights in a cabin, the park is quiet waves crashing in were very soothing to hear. The cabin has everything you could need and my bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. Extended my stay an extra night and can highly recommend this place.

Great experience right from the outset. Good communication via phone, easy booking process. Welcomed at reception by Zac who was very welcoming. Fabulous new cabin with all “mod cons” which were certainly appreciated after a 4 hour motorcycle ride. Large fluffy towels, plenty of tea, coffee etc heater was on prior to our arrival which was a lovely touch. It felt very luxurious, a home away from home. The park is well situated, 4 kms from town but so well appointed with everything you’d need for a great holiday. Plenty to keep kids happy, fire pits with fairy lights, great attention to detail in planning the park. Price extremely competitive. Highly recommend.

Family of 4 including 2 children.
Mattress is amazing so are the pillows.
The park has a lovely atmosphere.
Kitchen is well equipped but I still brought my air fryer.
Good size fridge and freezer.
Tv in main bedroom and lounge but unable to connect to Netflix or Disney due to wifi not being that strong through out the park but it didn’t bother us.
Staff are warm and friendly and care that you have a great holiday.
Pool is a great size, beach has 3 access points from the park.
Beach is not a real swimming beach due to the rip and big waves, but for wave jumping or boarding is fantastic.
Do try and see the sun rise from the beach as it’s truly beautiful.
You can walk from the park to the Seahorse Inn along the beach or along the adjoining caravan park.
They have things on for the kids and coffee cart for the adults ( coffee is amazing, local roaster, it’s one of those coffees that you can drink cold and it’s still good)
Go karts to hire, jumping pillow , skate park, basketball and play area.
Laundry facilities ( $1 needed )
Office does have a small amount of food to buy and pool toys as well as ice creams and slushes.
My only complaint was no Tennis court but you can’t have everything.
All in all a great park experience 💜

The powered sites are a fair walk to the nearest shower block, the pool and spa were filthy the whole time we were there, discustingly unhygienic having kids in the water in the spa, the pool and toddler pool had sand, bark and leaves at the bottom. I asked several times when it was to be cleaned only to repeatedly be told that it is cleaned overnight which it wasnt. Toilet and shower blocks often had tampon wrappers in the showers maybe a few signs about this would help.

The beach was right next to our cabin - we could hear the waves at night
The cabin had everything - fully loaded kitchen with oven, microwave and fridge
The TV was well sized.
The rooms were so comfortable
The whole place was really clean
It had a pool, bouncy something, a tennis court (which was cracked but was fun to play on).
Friendly staff
AC worked great

We have stayed here many times over the last 30 years and had enjoyed it very much. However, it was a bad experience this time around. We booked many months in advance and selected 4 x Premium cabins, when we arrived we were not given the cabins we booked, we were bumped down as the first of our booked cabins was occupied by another client. We complained about this and was given three different excuses.... During our stay the water was turned off twice for extended periods, water leaked all night under another cabin and the shower tap broke on another. The Showers in general were in poor condition and our overall thoughts were that the park lacked a good maintenance program.

Hi Andrew, thanks for taking the time to leave your review after staying with us at Discovery Parks - Eden. Our sincerest apologies again that we had to amend your booking on this occasion. Booked a cabin for 3 adults and 2 children. Stayed in cabin 209.

Pros: beds were comfortable (1x Queen and 4 bunk beds for a total of 6 sleeping spaces). Kitchen provided with fridge, microwave, stove, plates and utensils. Parking space available below the cabin. The room was equipped with complete bathroom, TV and AC. On-site facilities include swimming pool, jumping pillow, playground and tennis courts (plus many others that we did not use). Beach is a quick stroll away and is quite nice.

Location is a little far from regional towns with Eden being 10 minutes away and Merimbula being 20.

I would highly recommend.

We went over Easter. On the whole (despite the weather) it was OK. Unfortunately this caravan park has large sites with you having to park your car in front of your caravan, this means that the other campers are very close to you and as a consequence you can hear everything they say or when their children get up at 6.00am in the morning. It is a lot better to have your car parked on the side as this at least provides a bit of a buffer to the noise. The amenities were generally clean however I don't think they were cleaned on Easter Monday. They were in a bit of a state and ran out of toilet paper in some of the toilets, which was surprising as a lot of people left on Sunday as the weather was quite bad. The bins weren't emptied over the weekend and they were overflowing.

It has a pool but it is not heated which was also disappointing.

We were expecting the park to be very busy but there were lots of spaces available for us when we arrived. The service was fantastic and the prices excellent. We ere very happy with our site that we could drive through to it. The amenities are not far away and well maintained and the bins are close by. All up, we are quite pleased.

Over Christmas stay was had here for 4 nights. We had a camper van and used an ensuite at the park. The ensuite was lovely and clean and the park appeared well maintained. The Kiosk is sadly lacking as they have almost closed it due to COVID restrictions, only small necessities available. Eden is about a 15 minute drive away for stocks. The beach is a quiet beach at the bottom of the park with good walking access. Activities for families start December 28th. This van park has permanent residencies who obviously are regulars and the tourists are squeezed around these. Staff are friendly and helpful, poor phone connection. Enjoyed our break there.
