Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Funky refurbishment of the property has resulted in very comfortable rooms that have character rather than being just another motel room. Booking, check-in and checkout were ultra-smooth and when I lost my glasses the staff went out of their way to help resolve the problem for me. The location is easy to find and within 5 minutes walking distance to 2 great cafes for breakfast and lunch, 2 pubs for meals (had an excellent meal at one of them), a pizza outlet and a couple of other food options.

Honestly, if you were to drive by without having looked at reviews you would not stop. The ugly brick building at the front which houses the reception and some unrelated units is frankly not appealing. We arrived late in the evening and called Hannah on the number. She booked us in with no trouble and though she was 45 minutes away, she arranged for someone in town to get us the key.
The 1960's buildings in which the rooms are located, behind the awful building mentioned above is painted in bright colours like a funky licorice allsort.
The room was painted in a bright white, with funky new beach -like furniture and art. Nice fluffy towels, microwave and china. The bed was only a double so a bit cramped and a mattress topper would be great. Overall, a good value for money stay and comfortable enough.

The room was spacious, modern and absolutely spotless. The location was central Eden and next door to Coles, very handy for our microwave dinner, and the room was very quiet in spite of the proximity to the busy store. Bathroom was most fashionable. We would suggest that a bit more lighting in the room would be good. Highly recommend the motel.

Heading to Melbourne and spent the night in Eden to experience the Sapphire Coast.

Booked Coastal Motel which presented really well. Very easy place to find and friendly greeting upon arrival. The colour of the rooms really caught the eyes of our kids, they loved it and the interior colours were very calming. The room we were allocated had fantastic features, large enough tv, microwave, chairs and table with water in the fridge. The place was very clean, sheets comfy, the shower was large with plenty of hot water and the bonus was being right next door to coles and a petrol station was a bonus.

Highly recommended if you are heading to Eden.

The service was outstanding and the rooms were newly renovated with all the nice touches.
The room had a new air-conditioning unit that was very affective.
Plenty of fresh towels and all the items I could have hoped for.

Thank you for having me.

This motel provided convenient, clean accommodation in the lovely town of Eden. It was good value for money yet provided for our needs. Cafes and restaurants were minutes walk away and you can give driving a rest and visit local attractions on foot if you are reasonably fit.

From our friendly dealings with Jenny & the very helpful Tamsyn to the décor of the room making us feel we were staying with friends, our experience was terrific. So much so that we extended our stay for another two nights. We loved the little touches that made us truly feel welcome. Well done!

Fabulous little find in Eden. The hotel is painted with each room a different colour. Rooms were well appointed and the bed was oh so comfortable. I arrived early and was warmly greated. The room was still being cleaned but I could park the car and go for a walk. Very centrally located. Wish I had stayed longer.
