We have just (sadly) left Boydtown Beach Holiday Park after our sixth stay… obviously it’s a family favourite! Why? Well it’s huge and spread out, so noisy neighbours have never been a problem, the amenities block is sparkling clean (I could only wish for luxurious showers like this at home!), and the people that run the park go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. When I asked about fresh milk they apologised that they’d run out and without being asked delivered some to our motorhome shortly after! We have a massive converted double decker bus motorhome but it’s an absolute breeze to get in and out. And once we’re docked the tradition has become sunset drink, then a stroll along beautiful Boydtown beach to the Seahorse Inn, where you’re always guaranteed delicious food & wine and great service. All boxes ticked. Thanks Kathleen for being such a great host. See you again soon :)…
We arrived went to the booking/shop the Lady could not have been more friendly told us all about the park she was great. Our cabin was fantastic we had a breakfast basket, there was tea, coffee and milk, I didn’t think any of this would be supplied, seeing it was a cabin it was clean and tidy the cabin was walking distance to the beach and walking distance to the Seahorse club/ pub. Could not have asked for any more, staff were friendly and a great place to stay. Jennifer Rourke
We had 3 weeks stay in Boydtown Beach Holiday Park.. This was a fun time as we had days of rain and we still had an enjoyable time. Anyone wanting a quiet clean and friendly place to stay when travelling don't go past this hidden gem.
Great location, excellent facilities and very helpful staff. Right by Boydtown Beach for some very good beach fishing at high tide. Just make sure you use insect repellent in the evening as the sandflies on the beach can get hungry at night😉 The beach is also a great early morning walk where you can walk to Whale Spit to one end or the mouth of the Nullica River at the other end. A short stroll to the Seahorse Inn boutique hotel where you can enjoy a good meal and drinks with a spectacular view…and at very reasonable prices. We had a great stay and will return!
great place and plenty of room for caravans and tents etc ...not close together at all and the beach is lovely and not far away at all ...lovely hotel to have a meal or a drink close by which is Seahorse Inn ...highly recommend
Right now it is a work in progress. It looks like the park is being developed. The sites are well sized but at the moment it is a challenge to find the right one. I had to get out of my vehicle and explore on foot. The sites are mostly level and nicely grassed. There are no sumps for grey water. There is no pool but Two Fold Bay is a short walk away. I did not see any children’s playground facilities. The camp kitchen is huge. Showers and facilities are brand new. The showers have lovely waterfall roses. The park has nasty speed bumps.
I don’t really want to leave a review, cuz everyone will know how fab this campground is. If you like your camping holiday to be a simple one without the bells and whistles of those brand names ones, then this is for you. So much space. There can be many people staying here in all manner of tents, camper trailers caravans or just a simple swag, and you’d never know it. The amenities were clean and modern. And the piece de resistance, it’s a 2 min walk to the beach. The Seahorse inn right next door is well worth a visit, be it for a beer in the beer garden which has the best views. Or a lunch or dinner in the bistro. On second thoughts, don’t go to Boydtown beach holiday park, you won’t like it.
Stayed with my grandsons in one of the spa cabins. Perfect. Very clean, has everything you need. Just a short walk to the beach, and over to the Inn for lunch or dinner. We will definitely be returning at a later date. The sunrise over Twofold Bay and the full moon rising over the tranquil water was something to see.
Fantastic caravan park ,huge area for camping / caravans. Both powered and non powered. We staying on the new cement slab powered area, which we loved. So close to beach to walk and swim (dog friendly beach) and also to Sea Horse Inn for great meals, which was also dog friendly. Amenities building was new and was always spotlessly clean. Cleaning times listed on door and was noted to be several times per day. Camp kitchen was also spotlessly clean. Boom gates with individual code at entrance / exit
