Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We were a family of 4 stayed in room 26 which was a 2 bedroom unit, when we walked in we were impressed at how modern it was, one bedroom had 2 massive king beds and was a huge room, the bathroom looked to be brand new, spacious with a modern bath and double vanity, we throughly enjoyed staying here, the location is so central to all shops, only a minute to cafes, supermarkets, it’s about a 10- 15 min walk to the beach however a bit hilly on the way back. The views from our room were fantastic and lots of rooms were able to also enjoy this. The rooms were very quiet, we didn’t hear anything from either room next to us.Check in was quick and very friendly

Terrific accommodation in beautiful Eden. Perfect position right in the Main Street of town- two minute walk to Great Southern Hotel to enjoy a nice cold tap beer and delicious pub meal - and five minute walk to whale museum. The upstairs rooms in the motel offer lovely views over the bay and include 2 chairs on a shared but private external balcony space to enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine. The room is spacious with a super comfy bed, quality linen and large screen TV. The bathroom is aged but not a big deal as it is immaculately clean, quite large and includes a spa. The owners, Ken & Ray couldn’t be more helpful (even personally drove my husband and myself down to a local harbour restaurant to save us the walk- how nice is that!). Highly recommend.. book it!

The motel is located right in town and has many eating options within 50 meters of the front door.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed with a small kitchen area which enables you to prepare a light breakfast (no cooking other than toast).
The bathrooms are comfortable and there was an abundance of hot water.
The staff were always friendly and helpful.
You can walk to all parts of the township from here including the Killer Whale museum and the wharf area, it is only a 15 minute walk to the beach.
We had a great stay here and would happily recommend it

Booked and paid for newly renovated twin room on top floor which was flooded by water in between and underneath the beds. Notified staff member immediately but couldn't move us at the time. Though she quite willingly came up to our room to cover the carpets with beach towels and was very apologetic on behalf og the management (who were away). Thankfully, the morning after we were moved to the ground floor to another renovated twin room. Unfortunately for us the cold water tap in the bathroom leaked substantially so we had to turn off the water from the main connection. Not a pleasant stay afterall....... Still waiting on a measly $30 refund......

A BELOW standard room, over price, noisy, dark, outdated decor n facilities, so much cracks all over front door that allows lights n winds coming thru. Found toilet papers floating inside toilet bowl. Most tea bags unsealed
Upon receipt of Invoice by email, found surcharge fees, that NEVER been mentioned when checking in or out. Not happy to pay any surcharge.

We booked here so we could easily explore the town as we drove north to our final destination. We requested a ground floor room and that was provided. Check in was friendly and easy, The room was spacious and i can see why there is a double sofa bed for extra guests. While the decor may be a bit dated everything was clean and tidy and there was a microwave if you decided to heat up a meal. If you wanted to see the views across the bay all you had to do from the ground floor was open the door and walk outside.

We chose Twofold Bay Motor Inn for it's beautiful views and location in the main street, walking distnce to breakfast and dinner. We were not disappointed. We ate both nights at The Southern Hotel, great food, easy walking distance. The lovely Receptionist at Twofold, Amelia, was very helpful, suggesting sights to see and giving accurate directions and was very helpful with all my queries. We will be back.

Basic motel rooms are not always spacious... but this one was, and moreover, it contained everything we needed to make our four day stay in Eden comfortable and convenient. Basic kitchen needs, a decent sized bathroom and a good view to admire from the balcony while sitting out there to eat lunchtime sandwiches. Also important, an internet connection!
We appreciated the proximity to the local hotel and the Fishermen's Club, where we were able to get our evening meals.
The Eden Wharves and the Whaling Museum were both in comfortable walking distance, and we found that we could walk to the local (Aslings) beach as well.
And finally, on a personal note, before we left home I had mentioned in an email to the staff of the motel that our Eden stay would be our way of celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. But it was most unexpected and a very touching moment to find a congratulatory card on the table in our room. Our thanks again for that thoughtful gesture.
We had a wonderful stay at Twofold Bay Motor Inn.

We booked a king spa suite located on the top floor. Room was very clean, comfortable bed, sofa and dining table. A little dated but we weren't in Eden to hang out in a room. Very easy check in and noise was minimal from the road and other guests. Beautiful view over the bay and all shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
