Uninterrupted views of Twofold Bay from your room. Even from your bath. Walk to shops, wharf, beach, museum and cafes. We want you to enjoy your stay in Eden and endeavour to make you as comfortable as possible sharing local knowledge, welcoming drinks on arrival and of course the views. Our rooms are an eclectic mix of old and new. We offer homemade cake and biscuits for you to enjoy while having a cuppa on your balcony. During the months of September, October and November Eden is a great base for whale watching either from land or from the Cat Balou Cruise boat.Sometimes we look down and see dolphins and seals in the bay.Kangaroos graze on the greens at the Eden Golf course and the variety of birds we see from our deck is fantastic.

Detailed Reviews
Jen & Eric were very hospitable & welcoming. The room was warm, bathroom large and the balcony & view over the bay was stunning. The stars are night fabulous. In the tariff is a welcome drink, afternoon nibbles & the plentiful & delicious breakfast along with recommendations for local things to do. Jen & Eric have been in the area for 30+ years I think. The location is easy walking distance to main street & the marina yet it's so quiet. I was blessed with fantastic weather during my stay. Looking forward to getting back there and staying at Snug Cove again with partner in tow.

Thank you for your kind review. What a year 2020 has been so far. Hope we do not have a repeat. Looking forward to getting back to having guests again when it is safe to do so. Doesn't seem right having our wonderful view and not being able to share it. Stay safe and well.

From the initial phone call to make our reservation to the lovely confirmation email detailing how we could travel south from Sydney and the attractions along the way to the ringing of the the bell (a real bell!) at the front door to announce our arrival, we knew our short two night stay would be special.
Snug Cove strikes you a little strange at first but once inside and Eric gives you the briefing the home is yours. Perfectly placed 5 minutes walk downhill to the wharf and whale watching tours and 5 minutes walk uphill to pub and restaurants in downtown you have the best position. Rooms comfortable and quirky with beautiful view over Twofold Bay. Wonderfull choice if passing through Eden and Jen does the best scrambled eggs ever!!

We stayed at Snug Cove B&B in Eden for one night and felt we just had to post a review of this wonderful b&b It’s location overlooking the harbour was really great and all the amenities and touches in the room were of very high standard, especially the gorgeous spa bath. Snug Cove is a traditional B&B and the breakfast served was amazing with a great selection to choose from.
Our lovely hosts Jennifer and Eric greeted us when we arrived and gave us lots of tips of places to visit and the best local restaurants to eat in. Jennifer made us feel very welcomed and ensured everything we needed was taken care of. We highly recommend a stop over in Eden and definitely try to stay here if it’s available.

I could tell when I booked we would enjoy our stay. Jennifer provided tips for the trip down including best coffee stops on the tourist drive down and she was correct. Our room was spacious, very clean a large bathroom, and a small deck off the front overlooking Snug Cove. This was the perfect spot to read a book in the late afternoon after a day touring, or to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. On our second morning we saw a whale in the bay while we ate our breakfast. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and beautifully presented. Jennifer and Eric are excellent hosts, they provide you with enough information to make an informed choice and are very welcoming. We will definitely stay again.

We had a great, and very COVIDSAFE, stay at Snug Cove after their recent re-opening. They now have 1-2 of their 4 rooms available.
Our room, the Captain’s Room, had great views and was extremely comfortable. Even it the cold of winter it was worth going onto the balcony for the great views over Snug Harbour. It was fun to see the fishing boats going in and out, and we had dolphins one morning.
We enjoyed the cooked breakfast and took our hosts”s advice and had dinner (both nights) at the local pub.
Would love to go back during the whale season.

Thank you for your review. Yes even in winter we can enjoy the view. Whale soup at the moment, an amazing season with mega pods feeding. Whale watching at its best at the moment. Had guests drive out to Greencape as they dont do well on boats. Saw too many whales to count in close and performing well. Does this make you envious?

Excellent hosts: engaging, thoughtful and relaxed. We loved all its charm from our jungle themed room with a super bathroom, to the native gardens and birds, not to mention those stunning views. Happy hour's a bonus, breakfasts are great. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay with Jen and Eric who are wonderful hosts. Their friendliness and local knowledge added to our stay. The breakfast provided was equal to top quality accommodation at the best hotels and the evening drink & nibbles set the scene for relaxation and enjoyment. The room we had was spacious as was the bathroom, having an Asian theme. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Snug Cove.

We enjoyed our couple of nights here. It is very peaceful, quiet and the view is perfect. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The B&B is only a short walking distance from the main town and the jetties. We would recommend staying here.

We returned to the home of Jennifer and Eric for a three day mini-break recently. We chose the oriental suite and were very happy with the fit-out of the suite, which included a private balcony. A highlight of our stay was the great breakfasts Jennifer and Eric presented to us on the front deck with panoramic views. The breakfasts are chosen from a menu, and we chose orange juice, fruit and a hot choice from the menu, plus a nice pot of tea. Whilst we stayed, we enjoyed the sights from the deck overlooking Eden Harbour along with the cruise ship arrivals. We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly would revisit.

As regular bed & breakfast enthusiasts, having stayed at many bed & breakfasts throughout the years, what a pleasant find it was to spend a three night mini-break at Snug Cove Bed & Breakfast in Eden, with outstanding hosts, Jennifer and Eric. We liked the eclectic range of decorator items the hosts have in their bed & breakfast. We were in the Oriental Suite on the top floor of the building, with a balcony overlooking Eden Harbour. Whilst we were staying, we were able to enjoy the view of cruise ships arriving which we enjoyed immensely. On two of the days we stayed, we had our breakfast on the main verandah, and we selected from the breakfast menu fruit juice, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and tea. On the last morning of our stay, we dined in the dining room because of inclement weather. We really enjoyed Jennifer's breakfasts. We would certainly revisit Jennifer and Eric's Bed & Breakfast if we are in the Eden area again. They do a great job.
