I visited Milos with my husband in May 2019 and the stay at Hotel Ippocampos was really nice! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the family that owns the place was really great. The son, I think his name was Pavos (forgive me if I'm wrong but it's been so long), was the best host we have ever had. He picked us up from our ferry ride and let us know how the town was like. There was even a day where we were trying to figure out how to get to the beach and he graciously asked us if we needed a ride there rather than figure out the buses or taxis. I would definitely come again and stay at Hotel Ippocampus again if I could.

We stayed at Ippocampos five days in the room number 4, a room classified as see view but with the view almost entirely blocked by another building. The place is located almost 900m far from the centre, you will need a car or get ready for long walks. The A/C machine was noisy and we asked several times to get it fixed, apparently without success. In the bathroom the shower tent, probably years since i did see it last time, sticking on the body was the highlight at every shower. For who matters the wifi connection is poor and very slow. The courtesy and kindness of Panos and Flora are out of discussion but the place is really not worth the money we paid. The value for the stay was well below the requested price.

What a lovely place to stay at. Comfortable clean room with kitchenette and bathrooom. Excellent hosts who make you feel more than welcome. Aprox. 10 mins walk to the town with nice tavernas & good quality food. Make sure you carry a torch or use the torch app for your walk back in the dark. We stayed at Ippocampos from 26 Jun - 03 Jul. Panos (son) arranged our transfers from and to the airport. On our departure day I realized that I had forgotten to empty one drawer with our home keys and some medicines. One phone call and Panos brought the missing items to the airport just in time before our departure flight. We hope to be able to return to Milos and will definitely opt again for Ippocampos.

Warm welcoming of Greek people is certainly true of the family run business of Hotel Ippocampos. I can't praise them enough, and to say thank you. Thank you Panos for helping us out with our unfortunate experience at the rental bike company, and thank you for going above and beyond in general. If you are planning your stay in Milos, Ippocampos Hotel can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. Perfect. Thank you et merci beaucoup.

Our stay in this hotel was great! It is located in a quieter area than the centre of Adamas but also very close to it. But definitely the best was meeting Panos, he was very kind and helpful. He picked us up from the ferry and some days after left us in the airport. He gave us lots of useful and great recommendations in Milos we totally used and also it was a real pleasure meeting him a little during our stay :) I would totally recommend it! We really enjoyed our stay!
