Despite wet weather on our first 2 days we very much enjoyed our stay. It was confusing upon arrival as there were signs to reception but no signs of life anywhere, it turns out check in/ out is at the bar.

We just stayed at the hotel and had a very relaxing time. Enjoying both lunch and dinner. We also had our own car, so cannot really answer your question unfortunately. But I see you already for an answer :)
