The location is idyllic - lots of beautiful spots in extensive grounds full of olive trees and other plants. The boss and his wife were charming and most hospitable and indeed all the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are plain but well equipped and the dining rooms are functional. We had two guided walks with the...

A lovely place. Not enough thought given to the amenities however. We had a decent (standard) room accessed by an uphill pathway (40 metres). Fine in the day; not so good after dark when there was a 20 metre dark (unlit) section through the bushes (which I nearly fell into). Told staff that the lights were out, but there were...

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and had two standard rooms for the five of us. The hotel was very clean and the air conditioning worked well (a bonus in July in Morocco). We swam every day in the pool and hired a guide (Mohamed) through the hotel to take us hiking in the mountains. He was an excellent...

My husband, two children (10 and 7) and I arrived at L'Oliveraie de Marigha after 36 hours in Marrakech feeling hot, dusty, carsick and a little haggled-out from our time in the souk mazes of that wondrous city. But to step through the gates of L'Oliveraie is to enter a true desert oasis - acres of lovingly-kept gardens blooming with...

My boyfriend and I were spending a week in Marrakech but wanted to get some time away from the city and enjoy the Atlas Mountains in a location not too far away by car. We absolutely loved this place and our time here was one of our highlights. We just wish we'd stayed longer than one night (and that the...

We stayed here four nights in early May with our family with small children (4,7 and 9) and we had a great time. The rooms are comfortable and clean with nice views over the garden and the mountains. Our youngest loved to explore the beautiful garden and the children enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. One day we made a guided...

All I can say is go to this place. You would be stupid not to. We loved our visit. Truly loved it. We went for a hike into the hills with a wonderful guide...

The hotel is situated in a peaceful location with good views to the mountains. The garden area was shaded with Olive trees and well maintained. Our rooms were in standalone cottages, had generous proportions, and came with their own reverse cycle heating/air con unit and a terrace. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had breakfast and...

We just had five wonderful days in a place like paradise! We were there with three generations (4 children between 6 and 16 and a grandmother) and we lived in 3 separate houses, each has a lot of space and so everyone had his privacy and his space he needed to be on his own at any time. Therefore we...
