Having stayed here on a number of occasions over the years it's about time to make a review. Rooms are great (if you book the annex) (6ft Bed).Food is second to none and breakfast is 100 per cent. There are plenty of Pubs, restaurants nearby and the Station is close.Staff are very accommodating and friendly .Good bar with real ale.

We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding that was happening on site. The rooms were very comfortable with everything you could want. Really good food with good beer and a relaxed atmosphere. A great weekend.

Been several times again recently reacquainting ourselves with the place. It really is lovely. Staff cheerful and helpful, surroundings plush and food delicious. The £20 for 2 meals at lunchtime and early evening is extremely good value.

Our room was spacious and clean, as well as quirky. The second room through the connecting door was far smaller, but perfect for the kids. The...

The food was excellent and our room 18 was so comfy and probably one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in and we have stayed in a lot of hotels. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we...

We got married at the nearby Ufton Court this weekend and wanted to stay somewhere with a bit of character to add to the whole experience. The Elephant is on the recommended suppliers list for Ufton and we can see why. A non-exhaustive list of the things we loved - giant comfy beds with high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets,...
