About a mile from the Convention Center, and an easy walk. They have a restaurant, but we didn't use it - preferred to walk to other places nearby just for the experience. The rooms were clean and the desk staff very friendly and most helpful. Although well-maintained, this is obviously an older hotel, and it's 'round' design makes for some...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 22 October 2016

The building is a distinctive 20 story tower near downtown Raleigh. The top floor is a restaurant with great views, great hamburger sliders and some good craft beers. The rooms are clean, freshly decorated and adequate size. The only negative was the easy chair which looked reasonably comfortable but actually was not - a waste of space. This is a...

Management response:

Thank you for review. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We do have a very unique building that is a great conversational piece. I will pass on the info on the chair in the room. I truly hope that we will see you again. Regards, Andrew S. FOM

The people were nice who worked there, however, maybe because the building is a circle, the walls were thin, and I could hear people talking at 2AM. We were on the 10th floor. I heard motorcycles, sirens, many people in the halls through the night. The bathroom was so small, I had to turn sideways to get in and use...

We were in town for the Nat'l Genealogical Convention, and stayed on the 19th floor. Could see most of downtown and even had a storm roll through one night. We had 2 queen beds-very comfortable-,a flat screen TV, coffee maker, and one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. Improvement could be made by ripping out the useless tub, and...

This Holiday Inn is newly renovated and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the 20th floor has a good breakfast buffet and great views of downtown. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, good, clean hotel in downtown Raleigh, this is a good choice.

I enjoyed my stay here. It's not fancy, but it is reasonably priced and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The location was convenient and quiet. Ask for a room on an upper floor to enjoy the treetop view. Breakfast on the top floor was also reasonably priced. I liked ordering off of...

Cantarally located hotel- rooms are nice, but be aware- it is classic "Round Holiday Inn". This means the bathroom is small. Was their for a weeklong training. The food for the group was pretty much excellent (with a few minor exceptions) for group food. One common complaint was the wi-fi, while complimantary, was spotty.

The staff at the hotel was phenomenal! From the time of our arrival until our departure, they did all that they could to meet our needs. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. The location is good. Riding the "R" line made the convention center convenient. I would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn!

My fiance and I took a staycation last night and stayed at the Holiday Inn Raleigh Downtown. We booked a king room "with city views" and were placed on the 18th floor with a great view of the city. We did not explore the restaurant on the top floor because Raleigh has so much to offer foodies, but with the...
