The location of this hotel is great if you have to be downtown. The Acorn dropped right across the street and there was an ice skating rink across as well. The room was clean but does need updating as I have found with many of the Marriott's I've stayed at in the last year. My only complaint is about the...

This is my favorite hotel when staying in downtown Raleigh. If you are needing to stay downtown, look no further. The rooms are always clean, the staff is quite friendly and the location is extremely convenient. Parking is the only aspect that is a bit of a hassle, but that's to be expected when staying at a downtown hotel.

Just a two night stay as we visited the city for a friend's sons wedding. The front desk was able to find us adjoining rooms which was great. Not great views - but we weren't there for them anyway! We used the room service menu a couple of times. Food was average, but service was swift and attentive. No safe...

My wife and spent our first night away from our child as new parents. Upon check-in a gentleman named Will took care of us. We explained our scenario and he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and have a great time. The Marriott property is beautiful and certainly centrally located if you are...

Raleigh city center has few hotel choices. I reviewed the Sheraton previously and wrote that it was a good value. The Marriott Raleigh is by-far the better hotel. At check in I discovered that I had messed up my reservation. The front desk staff did not hesitate. They found me a room at the rate I booked (or didn't book...

Great experience for a downtown visit. The room was nice, updated and clean. The gym was good. The location and street area works well with a bunch of eateries and coffee shops. I highly recommend to any visit downtown.

Everything was great... Very friendly, helpful staff, clean, spacious rooms, nice meeting rooms and all conveniently located to walk all over the downtown capital area, high floors have an amazing view of the downtown and attached to the convention center so no having to go outside in bad weather.

This hotel is right in the center of Raleigh and is convenient for meetings with the state government (walking distance) or for meetings at the adjacent Raleigh convention center, but some distance from most businesses that are in the suburbs. The rooms are quite nice, but need maintenance (peeling pain, broken shower curtain). I expect hotel cleaning staff to notice...
