I have stayed at the Pine Crest Inn 7-8 times over the past 12 years and found it to be a consistently fine option. Especially outstanding is the breakfast which is included in the room rate. Evening meals which my group always had were very good. Great menu options and service provided a large group(30-45) was superb. Kudos to the...

Went down on the spur of the moment for an anniversary evening. I have been here many times over years for dinner but never stayed in the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the quaintness of the hotel room. It's very old and looks like you are staying at your grandmothers home. But when I say it's old, not old...

Stayed at Pine Crest (actually in an adjacent golf villa) on Master's weekend with a male golfing group of 7. At dinner on Friday evening we waited well over an hour for our meal after we had ordered. We were promised our meal "it's coming in 5 minutes" at least 3 different times. Our waiter acted indifferent. The food (steaks...

The Sunday Brunch buffet is fabulous! The staff is helpful and attentive. Come for bacon, sausage, made to order omelets, silver dollar pancakes, sausage gravy biscuits, fruit, and endless coffee... At $12, you can't beat it! The hotel is special and is in the heart of Pinehurst. A lovely meal to spend with family and friends.

We really enjoyed the quaintness of the Pine Crest Inn. We took advantage of their Valentine weekend special. We and very spacious room that would be considered dated (this hotel is 100 years old) but clean with a very modern bath and vanity area. Our weekend included a complete dinner for two, bottle of champagne and Sunday breakfast, all for...

recently stayed in the Telephone Cottage. Really nice, but showing its age. Dated fixtures, wallpaper peeling, needs paint touch ups, outside landscaping need serious attention to be able to park you car in front of the property. Dinner was really good, but service was really slow. Great location.

Celebrated our granddaughters 11th birthday here last Sunday. Brunch was delicious and the service was outstanding. Had a reservation for 7 people and the table was ready when we arrived. A quiet little gem in Pinehurst!!

This historic inn is well-situated in Pinehurst. The exterior of the inn is charming and inviting. Service is friendly and attentive. As others have noted, however, the rooms have not been updated in many years. My bed was uncomfortable due to the antiquated bed springs squeaking and digging into my back, and the old and scratchy bed linens. The bathroom...

My wife and I came here for dinner here on a Sunday night. We didn't have a reservation, but there were plenty of tables open and we were seated in the dining room immediately. We were informed that they were only serving food from the bar menu that evening, which was fine for us, and we stayed. We ended up...

We wanted to stay in The Village of Pinehurst and knew that the lodges were very old and historic but we weren't expecting just how old! I will say that the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious but don't expect much else. There is no ironing board, iron, refrigerator, microwave or desk. The room that we were in...

Most people go to this inn for a golf get a way. We were visiting my dad an avid golfer. Beds were comfortable and room service was prompt.”
