This was a great opportunity to get away from the work pace and slow down and relax. The scenery was great, we loved the accommodations at The Cove, and Erin and Chad were the perfect hosts/innkeepers. They were very knowledgeable about the local area, helped us with restaurants and shopping sites, and also with local events. The breakfast was wonderful,...

This was our first visit to a Bed and Breakfast and to the Island of Ocracoke. We went for the weekend and met up with our friends who were also staying there. It was a couples trip so it was nice we could all stay in the same bed and breakfast. Erin and Chad were very nice, outgoing and attentive...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cove. We stayed on the Sunset side of the property which gave us a view of the sound. The room was large and comfortable. The screened in wraparound porch was a favorite place when we weren't out exploring the town on bikes or in the car. We felt as if we were in...

This visit to Ocracoke was the best ever and the The Cove Bed and Breakfast made this happen! Erin and Chad were so cordial and accommodating. I felt like part of the family. My room was clean, spacious, and the most amazing views! The breakfast each morning was to die for. I was full all day. I would recommend this...

The Cove is the place to stay on Ocracoke. Erin and Chad, the hosts are always very welcoming and accommodating, not to mention the fabulous breakfasts that they prepare. The Portsmouth Suite on the 3rd floor is wonderful with its spacious and comfortable sitting/TV areas and of course the jetted tub, robes and the gorgeous view of the sound from...

My boyfriend makes a trip to Ocracoke every summer but this was the first time we've stayed at a B&B. He had heard wonderful things about The Cove through various website reviews. Our trip was delightful. Check in was a breeze, the rooms were nice and neat, and the homecooked breakfasts were delicious. The only downside, if one could even...

Our first trip to Ocracoke to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We picked The Cove over another B&B because they don't allow children under the age of 15. This was huge for us since we were escaping from our 3 little ones for the first time in 6 years! We stayed in the Portsmouth Suite on the top floor. It was...

Ocracoke has many excellent lodging places. The Cove is right up there at the top of my list. It's clean, quiet, friendly, and has great breakfasts every day.

We had a great time on Ocracoke and our stay at the Cove clearly enhanced it. Our room, the Portsmouth Suite, was nothing short of spectacular. It had breathtaking views and all our needs were were more than adequately provided for. Erin and Chris, the innkeepers, were extremely attentive and the breakfasts they provided were top notch. I was able...
