Sorry that you had a negative experience. At the time of your stay we along with the rest of the Outer Banks had a record amount of rainfall in a 10 day period. The sewer issue was due to a pipe that had been tampered...More

Great campground!! Close to all the restaurants. Showers very clean. Owners very friendly. Located right across from a cute little store and ice cream shop. Best butter pecan ice cream I have ever had.
Teeter's is a great little, family-owned, campground in the heart of Ocracoke. Bubby is relaxed and friendly, and exemplifies the Ocracoke people. I tent camp there every October, and walk into town for a meal, beer, ice cream, etc. Hey, it's October again - time...More

I apologize if your stay was disappointing. May I please ask when you stayed with us and what was misleading about our web site? Please let us know what you found unsatisfactory. I am a bit confused about the price you say you paid. Our most expensive site is $40 a night and that is with full hook-up and a base of two people staying. We only charge an additional $3 per person extra for those over the age of 6. The rates along with the additional person policy is listed on our web site. Your response would be much appreciated. Any suggestions are welcomed as we are always looking to improve customer experience.
