Teeters is well situated, close to town. There are great shops and plenty of restaurants nearby. The campground is just tired. While the bath house is acceptable, the sites are on top of each other. The waste hook up system is above ground and site...More
We've stayed at Teeters once ( Aug. 16') and had a great time. It's a small campground and nothing fancy but it's basic and the bathrooms are clean. We hooked up to the sewer and had no problem at all. GrandSon of Teeter was polite...More
Considering its location on an island, Teeter's is an adequate place and very close to the ferry terminal. The pros were nice and helpful owners and , after about 9:00, the place is very quiet. ( Borrowing from another review, we are the "old farts"...More
Not a lot of choices on Ocracoke Island, aside from the Nat'l Park. Teeter's has water and electric, multiple outdoor showers (my preference) and a couple nice indoor showers too. The campground is within walking distance to everything to see on the island. That's usually...More
This campground has full hookups and also just water and electric. Either way it's a great campground to stay at. The owner did a wonderful job accommodating us. It's right in the village, everything is within walking distance. You can choose to ride a bike...More
This campground was a big disappointment, especially for the price of $50 a night. Save your money and go elsewhere. The webpage is misleading. To the owners: what were you thinking?

I apologize if your stay was disappointing. May I please ask when you stayed with us and what was misleading about our web site? Please let us know what you found unsatisfactory. I am a bit confused about the price you say you paid. Our most expensive site is $40 a night and that is with full hook-up and a base of two people staying. We only charge an additional $3 per person extra for those over the age of 6. The rates along with the additional person policy is listed on our web site. Your response would be much appreciated. Any suggestions are welcomed as we are always looking to improve customer experience.
