My wife and I returned form a phenomenal long week on Ocracoke and staying at Pam's Pelican was the highlight of the weekend! We were immediately greeted on the property when arrived and shown our room. This day was actually Pam's birthday and we were invited, along with the other guests, to enjoy a bonfire and cookout to celebrate. Everyone...

We typically don't stay in bed and breakfasts, but staying on Ocracoke we wanted access to bikes and beach chairs and other wonderful amenities. Pam's was conveniently located and a better price than staying elsewhere and renting that stuff. Inside the room is a good size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker so you can have snacks and cold drinks. Both...

Stayed at Pam's back in August and her B&B exceeded our expectations. Simple booking process. Perfect for couples. Amazing breakfast every morning and welcoming rooms. Bikes and golf cart for the island were a huge plus. I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was. We will be staying at Pam's again, that's for sure.

After reading the Terrible reviews (only 2 of them to date) for this place, we decided to make sure our reservation was confirmed. This is January 2015 and we were making reservations for May 2015 so we weren't doing anything last minute. We spoke with Pam on multiple occasions and she assured us that with a 2 night stay, we...

With grown children unable to visit me, my brother Jan (pronounced "Yahn") picked me and 2 friends up in Beaufort in his small plane and proceeded to Pam's for an incredibly relaxed Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts, cooked an amazing Thanksgiving meal together, explored the island on bikes and golf cart, and generally just relaxed! The rooms are spacious...

Casual and comfortable describes the place and the owner. Pam treats you like family or an old friend. Great to sit and chat with while you enjoy a delicious breakfast. The rooms are comfy and clean and yes, the shell shower is fun! Pam and Jan and their canine welcoming committee will have you feeling welcome and relaxed. We would...

A weekend at Pam's Pelican B & B given as a gift by my son and daughter-in-law in celebration of our anniversary turned out to be the best present possible. The inn has an eclectic beach house vibe, from the comfortable porches to the incredible home-cooked breakfasts to the casual atmosphere. The water for our shower came out of a...

So many hotels and B&B's advertise a friendly hostess, authentic feel and delicious breakfast, but Pam actually delivers. This review is very belated (visited in August), but we felt our warm reception and relaxed experience merited a 5* mention. Do NOT rely on online booking, because it will not work and you will be robbed of the opportunity to hear...

There is a reason this is the # 1 rate B and B in Ocracoke. If you want a laid back, relaxing experience this is it. Pam and Jan are special people.
