We syayed here hoping to find a clean place with possible view of Marina. Managers and gift store across street are outstanding and interesting but wish I had looked at room first.. Room was upstairs with an open window that probably was left open to air out. Room was just damp feeling with smell of mildew. Fairly typical older motel...

I'll start off by saying this is the second or third place to stay closest to the ferry and that's why we chose to stay here. We got to Ocracoke early and immediately waited for them to open so we could book a room (which I suggest because when we came back around 230 to check in they were full.)...

When we arrived at Ocracoke and went to the hotel we thought we had reserved more than a month before, we discovered there was another hotel by the same name as the one on Ocracoke but in Atlantic Beach and we had put down a deposit on the wrong one. We couldn't get our deposit back and there seemed to...

The rooms are from the 70's espeicially the bedspreads. The female owner did not make a good expression upon check in, and she obviously does not care. Only stay here if you are on a low budget and need a cheap room.

Family owned small motel located within half mile from Oak Island ferry. Dated and could use a deep cleaning. Fair continental breakfast, no place for sitting and eating though. Decent place to stay in a pinch. Nice dock with chairs overlooking harbor. Friendly and helpful service.

Rooms are musty and very old, and have a plethora of insects for your amusement. management seems to stereotype individual guests. Bates-ish. Weird all around. I don't expect much for $100 but I've stayed at hotel chains cheaper with better amenities.

Great place to stay while you venture out and explore the island. Friendly staff and clean rooms. If you're a 'room potato' this place isn't the place for you. If you need TV, WiFi, room service, fluffy pillows and screens in your windows -- stay home.

The first room we had really had a mold mildew smell. We went back to front desk and they changed our room. They opened four rooms and let us check them before we chose. Room 6 was the least smelly but still had a mildew smell. The room was clean. Staff was super friendly. WiFi worked with no issue. Ducks...

This motel is a great because 1) it's a family friendly motel where it's always quiet at night, unlike other hotels I've been to 2) the cleaning service is friendly, we'll go to the beach and come back to a nice clean room with a made bed and fresh everything 3) it's right on silver lake so I can walk...

This motel has been operated by the same family for 50 years. We always get a friendly greeting when we arrive and our room is always ready. Its an older property, but don't let that stop you. Friendly service, clean rooms and just steps from everything in the village. If you are looking for a 5 diamond resort, this isn't...
