Our stay at Sobotta Manor was one of the most wonderful experiences we have had at the many Bed & Breakfasts we have stayed at. The home is absolutely beautiful and the formal gardens make you feel as if your in another time. The hosts were very gracious & willing to do whatever to make our stay enjoyable. As my...

We stayed at the Sobotta Manor during our wine tasting trip to North Carolina and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Robin is a wonderful host and her breakfasts were fabulous. We stayed in room #3, which was lovely with a very comfy bed. We will return!

This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast and Sobotta Manor has set the standard for all future B&B visits. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were top notch and quite hardy. But I also enjoyed my evening hours reading and relaxing in the common areas. Tastefully decorated with a collection of antiques, the living area was...

We can't top the superlatives written by the other reviewers, but we can join the chorus. Robin and her niece Erin made us feel like visiting royalty and family all at the same time. Our room was as comfortable as it was elegant, overlooking a gorgeous English garden. The house itself is an architectural gem, furnished and decorated with classic...

A real B&B in an elegant Tudor home, once the residence of one of the owners of the Mt Airy furniture company. It was walking distance to downtown Mayberry (Mt. Airy). The rooms are beautifully appointed, large, and comfortable. Breakfasts are top notch. A great place to stay if you want to experience Andy Griffith's hometown.

The breakfast is fabulous with the special touch of fresh in season ingredients. And the presenation will rock any 5 star resturant. Junior and Robin are wonderful hosts. They know how...

Sobotta Manor Bed and Breakfastwas our home away from home for the night. It was beyond any hotel experience we have ever had. The owners welcomed us and we quickly felt like we were at a friend's home. It is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. Your head sunk into the pillows as if they had been made just for...

Can't wait to come back for more of Robin's bountiful and delicious breakfasts and to experience Junior's tours of the gorgeous wine country surrounding Mt. Airy. The beautiful formal gardens on the property were the icing on the cake.

Robin & Junior are so very personable and friendly, enrapturing us with such great stories of Mt. Airy and serving the most delicious breakfasts, the kind one would expect in a 5 star hotel.
