We rode our bicycles on the blue ridge parkway and had been traveling quite a distance. We were tired and sore and hungry and ready for a break from the work. We found it! Right off the edge of a steep hill, we turned into the Switzerland Inn. It's rustic relaxed luxury and beautiful views brought instant contentment. Great food,...

Made a road trip to the resort with our small dog marley. The weather was perfect and the only thing that made our trip better was the fact we met a employee named anna. She was hands down the most enjoyable person we encountered on our 1300 mile journey. Great personality, high energy, and a wealth of information. A local that...

Found this gem while driving the BRP.We got a mountain view room downstairs which had a little balcony with nice views of the mountains. Room was clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs were nice to relax in after driving all day. the real jewel in the Crown of this place were the bar staff who couldn't...

The view is amazing and this hotel is very conveniently located next to the parkway and diamondback. Rooms are OK (this is no ritz), service is good, and there is a very good restaurant and bar (the chalet). My biggest complaint is the wifi. There is no cell coverage so wifi is essential to even communicate, but the speed is...

This past week, we made it a point to stay here and it was well worth the schedule change. I could not believe how...

This Inn was outstanding. The view from our balcony and the outdoor bar was amazing. The town was out of a novel. Everyone was very nice and helpful. There was also a gem and mineral show in the next town.

Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Little Switzerland, North Carolina, the property is attractive and the room was very well furnished. The view off the small balcony was beautiful, looking into the valley below and mountaintops in the distance. A short drive away is the Museum of North Carolina Minerals, as well as the town of Spruce Pine....

Had a wonderful dinner with friends. The hotel sits in a picturesque setting on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The drive was breathtaking. The hotel is a wonderful stop for anytime meal but next time plan to stay overnight. Memorable experience. Ask for Allen, our waiter. He was great.

My husband and I visited the Switzerland Inn in late August. It is one of our very favorite destinations. The entire area is truly picturesque but, the gracious/helpful/always smiling staff as well as the EXCELLENT food at the (on site) Chalet Restaurant, paired with the "top drawer" accommodations are what keep us coming back!!!!!
