The rooms are big the view is even bigger. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had rain pretty much are whole trip there but it was still wonderful. We had a really good time in the bar they had live music and dancing. The two bar tenders Darrel and Jennifer were a joy they made you feel... More

We had a splendid time at the Inn. The view is unparalleled. Rooms are what you expect for a mountain getaway nothing spectacular but clean and comfortable. There were a lot of motorcyclists staying over, but everything was quiet and well done. We were disappointed in the Friday night buffet. It was expensive for the quality.

The comforts you would most commonly expect to find was just not there. How do you have an Inn and the bed pillows are like something you would find at a thrift store? Duvet cover was cheap and heavy so after a night of sleeping under it my body was tired. The rooms smelled of a damp, aging, house. Staff... More

I would like to take the time to thank the entire staff at Little Switzerland for this past weekend. From the time we called Whitney and asked her about having our wedding there and although they do not do weddings during the peak season of October, they allowed us to have ours there. Nathan and Jordan and the entire restaurant... More

Had a great time, stayed at the Diamondback Lodge. The food, the views and the staff was amazing! Especially Anna the bartender! She took great care of us and she just made us all feel welcome. We definitely will return and look forward to seeing her again as she became our instant friend for life!

I've been coming here for years, and they keep upgrading the rooms to modern standards and appearance. It is one of the few hotels on/near the Blue Ridge Parkway, and it is the only one that is privately owned and family operated. There really isn't anything else here but the parkway and the view of the mountains, but they have... More

When cabin fever set in after surgery, my husband and I drove the parkway to an Inn I had passed many times without stopping. Not again. Even a foggy evening has charm in this picturesque setting! After a lively dinner in the tavern, we strolled to the outside fire"pit" and then spent the evening near the fire in the lobby.... More

Four of us stayed overnight here at the Diamondback Lodge as we travelled the Blue Ridge Parkway. The rooms in the lodge are small but very clean and efficient with each room having a private bath and small flat screen tv. They have full size beds. these are definitely single rooms. If you're bringing your spouse/soul mate I'd recommend you... More
