After a last minute decision to take a trip to North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains... we searched for a unique location to make the adventure special. Finding, booking and staying at Skyline Village Inn was exactly what we'd envisioned and more. Incredible, warm hospitality by the couple who own and operate the Inn. They're very welcoming of dogs...... More

Much better than expected for the price. Old but clean. View for the inn is fantastic!. We will stay there again. We paid around a $78. They are right in the heart of Little Switzerland with beautiful view of the mountains. We also had dinner at the inn which was one the best steaks I have ever eaten! They offer... More

Was there in July and took entire family this time. Took grandkids gem mining and spent night at Skyview. You could not ask for a warmer more considerate staff. My wife and I mentioned to Mike how much we loved his borboun pecan pie. He said it wasn't on menu that night. Later he told my wife he was going... More

Clean room, comfortable bed. This place has great views, several areas to sit and enjoy, pool table, wifi, cable TV. Owner and his wife cook breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, although menu was limited the food was great at good price. Loved the friendliness.

This hotel makes a great stop when traveling on the blue ridge parkway. It is conveniently located very close to the parkway. The rooms are a bit rustic, but clean. The views from the hotel are simply amazing. We did not eat here, but the food smelled wonderful. If you want a unique experience this is the place for you.

Mike and Lynn are very nice, our stay there was awesome. They make you feel right at home. Rooms are clean and neat. Food was very good. Great place to stay while riding your motorcycles on the Blue Ridge. We have stayed there multiple times and recommended it to ours friends. Thanks for all your help Mike.

We stayed for a week with 4 other couples all in our 60s and 70s. We rode our Motorcycles in the mountains for 4 glorious days. Never have we felt so welcome (and we have stayed in many hotels and motels over the years). Mike and Lynn cooked breakfast and supper most nights and even had a cook-out with steaks,... More

Please do yourself a favor and read the reviews (and nasty responses from the owner) before you book. I have never EVER been so poorly treated by a hotel representative. Here's what happened: We booked the hotel way in advance, based on the good reviews we saw on TripAdvisor. I should have read the bad ones along with Mike (the... More

We planned a trip to NC (Blue Ridge, Grandfather Mountain and tail of the Dragon) and decided to start with Skyline in as start and end point of our short trip. From the moment we arrived to the hotel we felt like we made the right choice. The owner Mike was very informative, friendly and helpful. We had time for... More

Great place to stay, the owner Mike cooks breakfast and supper for the guest (yes, it is good). The other staff members like Dave who we met on arrival are awesome. The rooms are clean. After talking to some of the other guest (there are many that this is one of their annual pilgrimages) I can't find anyone with any... More
