We happened upon this hotel when we stopped for dinner next door at Spears BBQ and needed a place for the night. Turns out the restaurant and lodge are owned by the same people. We loved the lodge. The room was very clean and pleasant, one of the best places we stayed on our trip. (They also have cottages for...

This was a simple get away the room was just the right size for a couple, clean comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! No air in the rooms, no fridge or microwave. They do have a breakfast nook with a microwave. Very little cell service, the walk to the falls and the views there were well worth this trip.

This was a great stay! The staff is wonderful and accommodating. Beds are comfy, as are pillows (important to me). Clean and cute, updated modern touches make aesthetically appealing...even the outside porches are inviting and super clean. My only complaint is that I didn't sleep well, fighting a slipping mattress pad, due to a bottom sheet that was not fitted....

We had a great visit in this mountain getaway along the Blue Ridge Parkway . The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A nice variety was offered at the Continental breakfast . Two restaurants and a country store were within a short walking distance and a winery was about a mile away.

Nice clean rooms though smalll. very limited space for breakfast and gathering with friends. You need to bring your own toiletries as there is only soap in the rooms. We couldn't get wifi to work but may have been weather related.

This is a no-frills location. Lovely wood panel walls, fancy upgraded bathroom. TV but no DVD/Bluray player. Wifi was free but basically nonexistent. Comfy, comfy bed. Oranges, apples, mini bagels with butter, two flavors of yogurt, and some scary hard boiled eggs for the continental breakfast. The hot water took quite a while to kick in for the first shower,...

I booked us a room at Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages after reading good reviews from readers and due to it's location near Linville Caverns, but now I know not to believe everything I read. Yes the room was clean, but as another reviewer stated it is really odd to check in at the Bar section of the restaurant; maybe...

I recently spent four nights at this locally owned lodge. The lodge building (only about nine rooms) dates from the 1930's, having originally been used to house the CCC crews who were working on the Blue Ridge Parkway. (There are also about four cottages for larger groups.) All the rooms and bathrooms in the lodge have been nicely updated, while...

What a peaceful, relaxing place with excellent food, accommodations & customer service! The entire staff was friendly, professional and ready to serve. Our cottage was beautifully decorated! Loved the porch with chairs & table to sip our wine from Linville Falls Winery on a cool mountain evening after a long hike! We are already planning our next adventure back to...

Nice lot outside. Did not like having to go to the bar to check in. Room was dark and could use a good scrubbing. Bed was decent. I thought the room was slightly overpriced at 95.00 and they did not offer any discounts. The food was average. Not a lot of power outlets in the room. WiFi was not great....

I am a little confused about your review. Our records indicate that you in fact stayed in a king room at the $95 rate and our staff on duty offered you an opportunity to visit the room prior to renting it for the evening since you were a walk-in. Our Lodge is a historical property with original yellow pine on...
