I love this place. I stayed there with a girlfriend on a work trip. The mom and pops atmosphere is adorable and the decor is shabby chic. The rooms were VERY clean and cute. The view is picture perfect of the lake. We enjoyed sitting...More

We appreciate you taking time to tell of your recent visit. Yes, the view is especially pretty in the evening with the fall colors. Glad you had a great visit and we certainly will look forward to your return!
My husband and I were enjoying riding our Harleys and viewing the beautiful fall colors in South Carolina and then North Carolina. It was getting late and all the chain motels had upped their prices for leaf-peepers. We decided to just ride and look for...More

The owner(?) of the inn was very nice and extremely helpful in guiding us to good locations for photography. The room was very clean and spacious. We had a great view of Lake Chatuge. We would definitely stay here again.

There are restaurants nearby and a smallish breakfast room that is used for the morning people. But nearby does NOT mean within walking distance, the Inn is outside of town an a hill overlooking the lake so it is away from the bustle. We did not eat at the inn at all so I can't comment on whatever breakfast options they might offer. Hope that helps!
