Let's start with thanks to Marti, Stormy, and the staff for a wonderful stay and your great hospitality. The Inn of the Patriots is loaded with history and features some great stories from Marti about his days in the Navy and serving as a chef at the White House and Camp David. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. One...

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn this weekend. Great little spot and great food and hospitality. Love the local museums and war memorials. The chefs were very knowledgeable about their home and the local attractions. The restaurants mentioned by the inn are absolutely wonderful.

The inn abounds in Americana history. Many of the items are fascinating in themselves, but really come alive when the proprietor/chef, an extremely knowledgeable fellow, conducts a discussion of many of these artifacts found in the living room. There is a limited (6 I think) number of guest rooms, a few of which have shared bathrooms. We stayed in one...

We stayed here with a Living Social certificate which was a gift from our son and his wife. We had a great time and stayed in the Baby Ruth room. This room was on the first floor and was very roomy. The room had everything we could possibly need or want. As mentioned in other reviews there are trains occasionally...

This B & B has a down home flavor & very relaxing atmosphere. My husband & I spent one night in the Colonel Cleveland room - king bed/w bath. Enjoyed an excellent evening dinner at Ni Fen restaurant in nearby Shelby (owned by chef Marti & wife.) Will review that in another post. Breakfast at the B & B was...

We really enjoyed the location...so many small towns near by to explore...the cooking class was lots of fun and we learned so much. The chef passed on great information about events taking place nearby...we toured two local wineries ,had a nice dinner in town, and even relaxed in a small local wine shop that was having live entertainment. The rooms...

We stayed here recently with some dear friends and had a fabulous time. We stayed in the Baby Ruth room up front which was very spacious and comfortable with a private bath. The whole Inn is totally fascinating. Yes, it is jam packed with history and memorabilia. Every corner you look there is something to see. If you are a...

I had a wonderful visit. My husband and I were with another couple. We went to the two winery's (that were included) and ended up at the B&B at around 9pm that night. We were worried because it was late but Stormy (owner) opened the doors happy and inviting. She showed us around and made us feel comfortable. I stayed...

For anyone who loves B & B's with character, this place has it! And, not just the Inn. Marti and Stormy have plenty of character. We were welcomed immediately and given a host of things to do outside the Inn. They have great relations with many of the local businesses. We indulged in 2 different winery tastings. The cooking class...

My husband and teenage daughter stayed at the Inn of the Patriots B&B for one evening on July 17th. What an unique house to stay at. Marti was a wonderful host and a very interesting individual. He was in the U.S. Navy for at least 20 years, a chef for three presidents in the White House, drove a submarine and...
