My wife and I stayed in Cottage 4 for 5 nights. We wanted a king bed so this cottage fit our needs perfectly. Jackie and Larry were wonderful hosts who are attentive, but respect your privacy. The gardens and surrounding area are beautiful. Wayah Creek is just a few steps away from your front door, and the wonderful sound of...

I had not been on a vacation for over 12 years. This excellent spot was referred to us by my best friends every year for the last 10 years. Being an over-achiever I had just never had the time for a vacation. Finally, I just gave in and took the time off - I WISH I HAD TAKEN MORE TIME!...

My wife and I spent 5 days at Wayah Creek Cottages in May of '07. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The cabins are well kept and furnished well. Jackie is most helpful and a gracious host. To lay in bed, listening to a babbling brook or sit on the porch listening to the eagles screaming,...

WOW!! What a great time my husband and I had at Wayah Creek Cottages. We own two timeshares (one at Hyatt and one at Marriott) but going to Wayah Creek is the best relaxation we could ever ask for. The gardens are beautiful. The cottages are quaint and delightful. Love this place!

I've been here many times. Each time, I've have nothing but peace and quiet, and I enjoy the isolation, the bubbling creek, and to watch the squirrels and an occasional deer that wanders up while eating breakfast on the porch. It's perfectly located to give you easy access to several easy to hike waterfalls, and you're within a few hours...

Just happened to find the cottages on a road trip where the intention was to get lost enough to spend some quality time together. Found the cabin and the gardens ideal ~ and the owners kind and peaceful. They stress that they are a "quiet retreat for quiet folks," and they do work to make that happen. We brought in...

Awful! Rude owners. Old cabins. Everything about the place was uncomfortable from the plywood under every chair and sofa to the numbered utensils and garbage bags which made you feel like a thief. The noise level from the constant mowing and tractor work completely ruined the tranquility of their location.

Cozy cottages, roomy and comfortable for two or more. Romantic stone fireplaces and all the firewood you need. A singing brook flowing by and beautifully kept gardens. All in a quiet mountain area within a short drive to Wayah Bald and other nearby Appalachian Trail areas as well as lovely Franklin, NC. We have stayed there three times and look...
