I have been hosting a care event there every year for the last 14 years. The facility gets better each year. The amenities are nicer, the rooms are nicer and the food is outstanding - expecially the grilled chicken garden salad from the Wildwood Grill. I almost hate to review this place because I really don't want people to spoil...

The Fontana Village Lodge was a wonderful re-discovery! I had been there years (and years) ago, but this visit was a revelation. With a number of different accommodation options, it's a terrific place for families to spend time together. The only problem was, our visit was too short to enjoy everything as much as we would have liked! First, you're...

I stayed at Fontana Village for a couple of days in early April during a thru hike of the Benton MacKaye Trail. The setting is beautiful and the resort had everything I needed: a clean room, restaurant, general store (very pricey), laundry, and free printer. Being that I visited early in the week outside of peak season, some services were...

I attend a car event here every year for the past 7 years. Fontana is always improving with each year. We originally were staying in the lodge, then moved to one of the cabins. All the rooms are nice, and the cabins are also pretty nice. Only issues we have with the cabins is that they don't supply you with...

Thank you so much for our review and we are so pleased to host the MINIs every year. Every year our wi-fi is expanding its capacity, thank you for being patient with us while we do our best to bring coverage to four hundred acres of our property.

I was there in late April for the BMW motorcycle gathering. The Wifi connection was spotty at best. The breakfast buffet was way overpriced. Our bill was messed up too. A member of our group reserved 2 rooms for 4 people in Feb, leaving a $90 deposit on each room. Upon checkin, I had to use my CC to enter...

If you are looking to unplug from life it's perfect. The setting was nice, babbling brooks and lush greenery everywhere and a nice drive in down a beautiful curvy wooded road. BUT... If you need to stay connected you will get zero cell reception and the wifi they offer was useless. The rooms were pretty standard, but the beds were...

Our family camped here for a weekend recently and were delighted with the resort -- not fancy but quiet and lovely. The lake nearby was almost empty of boats, although the water level is low this time of year. If you camp, ask for #23 -- the only spot on the resort (close to pool, restaurants -- the actual campground...

Thank you for your excellent review! Fontana Village does not guarantee specific cabin numbers or campground spaces, but does their best to honor requests. Please keep in mind that the actual Fontana Campground is located one mile from the Village Center next to Fontana Dam and the Little Tennessee River.
