This is certainly a great place to stay in Durham. Firstly, I booked this hotel because it is located just across Duke University's East campus where my daughter attended the summer camp. Upon arrival, the person in charge of that day, Candis, took me to the Womack room on the first floor. The room is superb! The bed is extremely...

The King's Daughters Inn exceeded our expectations! We travel a lot and always do a lot of research on hotels...and we don't mind paying a high price for one since it is so important to the experience.....(including in NY, DC, Cabo San Lucas, Rome, Vail, Aspen). Anyway, despite its much more reasonable pricing, the King's Daughters Inn was as beautiful...

I spent a few days at KDI while working at Duke. What a lovely stay! They go the extra mile in so many little ways that add up to make you feel like you're home away from home. I'll share what I liked--the images that endured. (There was nothing I didn't like.) The inn is beautiful: a perfect mixture of...

We just stayed at the KDI for a wedding and it was a marvelous experience. We've stayed before and knew it was an awesome Inn (and hence, having a family wedding there) but the staff were really exceptional with helping to plan the family/wedding party's stay, making arrangements for dinners, cocktail parties, etc. They helped to decorate the Inn with...

What a lovely Inn! Staff was great, accommodations were superb (bed was oh so comfy) and very chic, location couldn't be more ideal as you can walk to so many things. In a residential neighborhood which makes it so quiet and peaceful...we awoke to the sound of birds chirping. Absolutely wonderful. Just wish we'd had one more night.....

I live in Durham, and refer many visitors to the King's Daughters Inn. Every since it opened I have been looking for an excuse to stay at this lovely inn. And I found my excuse on February 12th, when central North Carolina was under the siege of one of the worst snowstorms of the decade. We had tickets to a...

I too was at the King's Daughters Inn during the snowstorm. Our hosts provided gratis dinner for two nights and the entire staff could not have been kinder. I think there is nowhere I'd rather be stuck for several days--a luxurious room with gloriously high ceilings, free wireless, lovely quiet decor, a sitting area and desk for work; walking distance...

We were stuck in the recent North Carolina snow apocalypse and were able to get this beautiful B&B room close by while every hotel chain was sold out! It took us 2 hours to get there (which was 2 miles away!) but once we arrived the manager and owners did everything possible to make the best of the snowy night...

Picture this: Durham NC is suffering under the throes of one of its worst snow storms in history; the governor has declared a "state of emergency." Cars litter the roadsides. The icy wintry mix, barreling in from the South, has hit three hours earlier than expected. En route from Virginia back home to Johnston County, NC, I am caught driving...

This was our family's first stay at a bed and breakfast inn. Let me start by saying, KDI has set the bar extremely high! We loved every moment of our experience in this exquisitely decorated inn. The luxurious amenities were numerous and surprising. We were pampered with a fantastic and spacious room filled with conveniences including an IPad and fabulous...
