After a delicious breakfast, we spent all day hiking in the Smokeys (a short drive away), happy to return to this delightful B & B for a very comfortable and relaxing night. Hannah and George are welcoming, provide information on restaurants in the area as well as tips on the Smokey trails. We loved it and highly recommend to anyone...

George and Hanneke are wonderful hosts and their property is a perfect stop for touring the Smokey Mountains and the surrounding area. It was like being home for a couple of days. Be sure to get travel tips from George for the coolest waterfalls (Dry Falls and Glen's Falls)!

David, thank you for your wonderful review. It took 5 years to find our ideal location: 15 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to Whitewater Rafting and 8-18 minutes to wonderful local restaurants. Also, when George was stationed in Germany we always choose to stay in Gasthauser (German B&B's)...

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing location. Very beautiful. Breakfest was filling and tasty. Owners were helpful, kind, and nice. We would definitely recommend staying as we will surely stay again, very clean. Ask George for sight seeing ideas, ask if you are not sure about anything, they are happy to accommodate. LOVED IT!! :))

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The grounds are immaculately maintained. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owner immigrated to the US from Germany and built the inn in the German Alpine style. She is a very gracious host and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this B&B!

Thank you for your excellent review. When we travel, cleanliness is one of the most important things to us, so thank you for noticing. While proud of my European background, I love America and enjoy mixing the two cultures. Thus, my breakfast is a combination of an american egg dish and pastry, mixed with an Alpine breakfast. Having been warmly...

We were so grateful for Hanneke and staff being willing to pack us a picnic for our day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! It was worth the charge because there is no place to stop and buy food in the park! The room was small but lovingly attended to -- Forestview is a gem! George gave us a...

This is not for those who want a super elegant B&B, but then it also lacks super elegant prices. It is very very clean and as advertised. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. There are some good walking trails which we liked. Breakfast is fine, the beds are fine, the bathroom is fine, it is very secure, and...

My fiancee and I stayed in the Forestview which had a large balcony facing the back of the property. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to each morning! The owners and staff keep the landscape beautiful all year long. After a delicious breakfast, we hiked for nearly two hours on the winding and well kept trails finding many...

We spent two wonderful days at the beautiful Chalet Inn before moving on to visit friends in Waynesville. What a perfect location--an hour from Asheville, thirty minutes from Waynesville, and about fifteen minutes from Cherokee, Sylva, Bryson City and Smoky Mountain National Park. We stayed in the large and luxurious Overlook Suite which certainly did overlook the Smoky Mountains. Everything...

We were delighted with every aspect of our stay at the Chalet Inn. Hanneke and George are excellent at what they do - from the "Mountain View" room with a balcony overlooking the mountains, the beautiful quiet setting with mature landscaping, waterfalls, walking paths, a fireplace and more... to the 5days with exceptional breakfasts (and an arranged dinner) and all...
