Place is musty smelling. The manager is very nice but does not live on site so you are on your own if you need anything. Had to search the house for soap since we had none in our bathroom. Not a bad place but not great.

A must stay place if you are in the area. Quaint small town, beautiful B&B, great staff. Made last minute reservations and were welcomed with open arms. Had the house to ourselves out of pure luck! Old but comfy and fascinating. Walk all around town!

Lovely decor and a nice woman checking me in. I was the only guest and she gave me a hefty discount for not wanting breakfast. I couldn't get the shower in the Magnolia Room to work but the tub worked fine. Fresh cookies! Columbia is a sweet town and this is a sweet place to stay.

The Brickhouse Inn is a great value. If you like b&b's and you are headed to the Outer Banks of NC. I recommend this Inn. The house is over 100 years old and has a great southern charm. We stayed in the Magnolia room. It has a private bath and porch. The home is located within walking distance of everything....

Another great stay at the Brickhouse Inn with my wife. Kay the caretaker called on the day of check in for my travel plans and asked about breakfast for the next morning because we were the only guest for that night she's awesome. We love coming to this B&B because its peaceful, calm, relaxing and the breakfast is always great.

We took advantage of a Living social deal and boy was it! The price could not be beat! The accommodations were simple and no frills, which was ok with us. We wish we could have met the owners of the Inn but they are busy people. The lady running the Inn was very nice and gave us her phone number...

I purchased my Living Social deal on April 5, 2015 and was trying to contact the facility to reserve my dates for almost a month with no return phone call or email. I had emailed requesting my dates as well. I had to contact Living Social to let them know that no one was returning my calls because I did...

My partner made reservations at this B&B through Groupon and got an excellent deal. We really had no idea what to expect in the property or the town. But what a surprise. This town is located on Hwy 64 right on the way to the Outer Banks. It's a sleep little village on the Scuppernong River dating back to the...

My partner and I stayed at this quaint B&B and thoroughly loved it. The facilities were wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the amenities excellent, and the included breakfast abundant. We chose the Magnolia Room, a first floor room with a private bath and private porch. Kay, the hostess was always welcoming, helpful, and available whenever we needed her. She made great...

Very nice accommodations were found at The Brickhouse Inn. Caretaker Kay certainly went the extra mile to assure our comfort and her breakfast offerings, fresh and abundant. You'll have a nice, quiet stay and be an easy drive to Alligator River Refuge and the Outer Banks!
