Loved the setting, the surrounding neighborhood. The beautifully landscaped grounds, the graceful fountain and deep set porch (lined with rockers) greets you at the end of the secluded driveway. The mansion is a classic style in rare condition, obviously restored and well cared for. The interior does not disappoint, filled with chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows along with vintage and...

A wonderful place to stay for a special occasion. A restored historic house with unique rooms and furniture. Comfortable rooms and beds. Friendly staff. Breakfast provided but no other meals. Great garden. Not central. A unique place to stay.

Don't expect a small bed and breakfast. This place is very large, so large that it hosts banquets and meetings. The staff was very nice and helpful. it is located in a neighborhood setting with beautiful grounds. We stayed there twice about a week apart. Even though we booked the least expensive room, our room was large, very clean, and...

i truly enjoyed this place for the history and location. Like being in a Hotel in Central Park in NYC. It is out of the maddening crowd but very well located. I was only able to stay 1 night due to availability problems and had to leave to the airport very early in the morning. The hotel made my better...

Very nice romantic treat! Beds are really comfortable. Interesting place to stay. Restaurants are a walk away. Stayed in 3rd floor king bedroom. Wedding reception was downstairs and we couldn't hear a thing.

Although we only stayed here one night, we had a wonderful stay. From the minute we parked our car until we left the following morning, the hotel staff were so helpful and welcoming. The room was wonderful, quiet and peaceful. Our bed was extremely comfortable. We had and early start the next morning, and it was no problem to get...

- Charming, historic hotel on very pretty grounds. - Not really a B&B because it's too large for that, and don't expect owners or managers to chat with you when you are there. But that's okay because it is a lovely property. - Hotel seems to do a lot of conference and meeting business, but that didn't detract from our...

The property is stunning. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We stayed two nights following our daughter's wedding in Asheville and it was the perfect place to wind down. The staff is very gracious and informative. We stayed close and there is a good selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast is exceptional and the evening coffee and cookies...

I stayed two nights for a company meeting and it felt like being invited to friends 100 years ago. The rooms were spacious and the staff made every effort to make us feel welcome. The food was great and the presentation of the history of the building was the icing on the cake.

The Grounds here are one of the prettiest grounds we've seen. Tons of gorgeous sitting areas. The neighborhood is beautiful. Our room was the most expensive room so they MUST fix the noisy air conditioner. It's so loud and so annoying, very hard to sleep! Our bathroom was gorgeous, they need to update their website bc it still has old...
