Staying in a cabin made it possible to take a break, sit in the a/c, and have a shower mid day. That was priceless for me. The bunk beds are tiny, but the cabin was otherwise perfect. The bus service back and forth was great.

Yes there's a section of the campground for long term stays. They seem to be mostly Carowinds employees so it's best to contact the office for more info on their monthly rate. Btw, if you have kids, a school bus dropped a... More
Yes there's a section of the campground for long term stays. They seem to be mostly Carowinds employees so it's best to contact the office for more info on their monthly rate. Btw, if you have kids, a school bus dropped a couple elementary school age kids near the park entrance when we were there.
