I came here to visit UNC and found this hotel. I'm one mile from downtown and they offer a shuttle to the University. It's a little dated, but very clean and the grounds (designed for socializing...pool full all year, benches, picnic tables) are well kept. Most of all the service has been great. I came on January 17th at 6pm...

While this is not a new hotel it has been well maintained. The rooms are immaculate and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks, Galen! The one suggestion I could offer is to install exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

The room was good and comfortable . We spent one night there and I was pleased. The pool we did not get to enjoy because it was too cold, that being said it looked to be completely redone and ready to use. This was also right beside a busy road and still did not hear much noise from road.

Thank you so much for taking time to leave a review for our team. We love getting feedback from our guests. Our hotel is indeed in a convenient location and just accross from Eastgate shopping center - home to Starbucks, Traderjoes, Talbot, and future home to Zoe's Kitchen, etc. You're correct - we rarely hear of guest issues with noise...

We have stayed here several times. I have personally seen the help removing blankets and comforters for cleaning, which is comforting to know. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very hospitable. The only reason I don't give it a 4 is because some of the rooms have a mildew smell when the weather is warm.

I spent 1 night there because of my son's graduation the following day. There was a large Christmas ball in the room located near the lobby however I couldn't hear anything outside the lobby area - good insulation. The area surrounding the swimming pool area is under construction and so is the main road leading to the hotel. However we...

We stayed at this property for two nights in early December, as my wife had a nearby interview. From the exterior, the property shows its age, and is currently surrounded by road construction. The front office staff is friendly and very helpful. We had informed the sales manager that my wife uses a walker for mobility, so we were booked...

Thank you so much for leaving a terrific review for our team and congratulations on the interview- We hope your wife gets wonderful news! We are so glad you guys could make it out to the last football game. We love the terms old school and vintage-very fitting for our inn. We have lots of families that book with us -not just for our great rates but to give their kids a chance to stay in an exterior hotel like they did as kids....
