We decided to visit my son in Raleigh and bring our two dogs. I called several of the hotels where we normally stay and they would accept pets, but with a large pet fee. La quinta welcomed dogs and no additional fee. I had never stayed at a la quinta but the reviews looked good. It was perfect for us...

Your pet is welcome to stay. Hotel is average and has some faults and things to be fixed but all in all ok. Location is good, parking is plenty, pool and breakfast is okay, coffee all day is offered. Staff is friendly.

There was an ANT problem in the hotel; had previously been there. Personnel handled this poor. They said they would get us some spray to use. Would recommend that anyone staying at the LaQuinta in Cary, NC ask questions before they stay; especially about their ant problem... Most of the people at the LaQuinta were friendly and helpful

Yes unfortunately we did have an incursion of ants in specific locations. We currently have an ant program in place with bait stations monitored by Ecolab, our extermination service. We have called them out to address the ant problem and we have sprayed the rooms in question. I'm sorry this event occurred and affected your stay. We currently seen to...

We arrived early, before normal check-in time, but the staff had no problem getting us in speedily. The room (handicapped accessible) was ready, spotless and odorless. It was quite large, but only one chair to sit in. The hotel is installing new thermostats on the wall, which will eliminate the need to crawl under the desk to adjust the temperature...

Every trip we have made to Raleigh, NC since the fall of 2009 we have stayed at this LQ. Great staff and really convenient location to the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Also has a TGIF, Walmart and Harris Teeter right across the street.

Terribly maintained property...the room had a busted furniture (what little was there)...was very foul smelling...Tv did nit work...and this was an extra large suite room, you'd think they woul can about the most expensive room at the hotel...very disappointed as I have stayed at many of their hotels in the past.

I went to all our suites, 5 , to ensure that they are in repair and does not have any odors. It was brought to my attention 5 days ago about one room in particular that this happened in. I'm sorry that you experienced these issues and will work to rectify them in the future.

Thank you for your comments. Our breakfast just expanded to include fruit cups, biscuits, muffins, sausage and scrambled egg patties. I apologize that the sterno fire went out causing items to cool off. I will check my scheduling of breakfast help more closely to make sure we can keep the area stocked. Clean & updated; room was comfortable and enjoyed the little coffee pot & wi-fi. Felt safe traveling alone. Did not use pool or fitness room but they seemed well maintained. Location is on a quiet street convenient to the location I needed in Cary, NC.

Sorry to say this was a bad experience as I stay at La Quinta hotels most of the time. We noticed a few ants the day we checked in but by morning they were everywhere. The bed had lumps along with dips through the mattress. The room smelled like a dog had slept there.

I apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. Yes we did have a rash of ant incursions. As soon as I was aware of it we called our nationally recognized pest service, Ecolab, to investigate. We already had ant program in place as a proactive measure but heavy rains or extremely dry conditions can cause the occasional incursion....
