My husband and I were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary and I found this special place looking for boutique hotels on the Outer Banks. They certainly lived up to their 5 star reviews. We stayed in Jasmine and the room and view were spectacular.
We enjoyed our experience at the Inn--everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely (would have liked a larger bathroom vanity) with a large patio facing the sound. What made it special were the thoughtful touches of a gifted coffee mug, fresh baked pastries...More

Yes it is. Different nationalities and of color. We were there with our whole family and one of our son- in-laws is black. There was never a moment of discomfort. We also had a gay woman friend and two guy friends visit us and stay with us for part of our visit and again all were very comfortable out and about. The Pamlico is totally excepting including the owner engaged to a beautiful black woman. I hope this is helpful!

We apologize that you feel our questions were "unbecoming and uninviting". The questions were truly intended to make yours and our other guests stays most accommodating. We try to place families with younger children in our more private rooms for a couple reasons. 1. The footprint is larger. 2. They have fold out couches to allow for more than 2 guests. 3. They have private balconies as apposed to adjoining balconies. While the majority of our guests are couples or families with older children, we certainly welcome small children and offer many amenities for guests of all ages. We simply want to make sure that everyone has the best experience while they are with us.
