Love the family that has recently purchased the Inn. Their commitment to making the Rosewood Inn shine is obvious. Our room over looked the river. This is the only motel that is located on the river. The historical nature of the hotel is so cool. Close to downtown restaurants and grocery. Near the Deep Creek Smoky Mountains National Park entrance....

Took grandkids to the Polar Express ride at Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Rosewood is about a 7 minute walk to there. For an overnight stay, this hotel is good. Prices were very reasonable. A.P., the manager, met us as we arrived, and had the room already warm for us. Could not have asked for better service. The hotel itself was...

My sister did not make it in time to get to our cabin prior to dark. She made her way to this hidden secret...a family-owned establishment.....plain, simplistic, no bells no whistles......BUT CLEAN and the MANAGER AND HIS FAMILY WERE EXTREMELY helpful, courteous, .....breath of fresh air - old school hospitality. I am very impressed. I will definitely keep this motel...

The room was OK for one night but not worth the $100 charge. The room was old and outdated but fairly clean. There was a wall unit for heat/air so there wasn't a vent in the bathroom. It was cold while taking a shower. The water in the shower either worked on hot or cold and would shut off when...

My wife and I decided to enjoy our anniversary in Bryson city and decided to stay here. Awesome location, walking distance from all the fun on Everette street etc. The manager (AP) was awesome to work with. He not only helped with the perfect room but called to see if I needed anything in the room prior to arrival! Been...

My family of 4 stayed in a 2 bdrm/non-smoking room. It was very clean, no odors. I was pleased. I recommend this motel. A.P., the manager, was very nice and caring. He said that he also stays on the premises, which was nice. I have no complaints with the accommodations. I highly recommend.

Don't let the outside fool you. It is a older place, but it was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. It was walking distance to everything downtown which allowed everyone to have a better time. It did not have central heat and air only window units. The parking lot was small.

I so wanted to believe the new owners were trying to make this work. But.... former owner had lovely plants all over the place. While some of it did need trimming, right now it looks a bit naked. Hope they let some of it come back. We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. Very busy. Very warm weekend. A/C...

Motel is old with a lot of kitch. Could be nice with a little more work. Room smelled musty and mattress was REALLY old. Can tell they are working to upgrade - linens were newer, bathroom fixtures new but sloppily installed. We asked for fridge and microwave and got them. Deck overlooked river, but screen door had major holes so...

Nice enough place for a mom and pop hotel though some rooms are much worse than others. After booking through Priceline.com/Booking.com the owner tells me to just call him and he'll give me a better rate for our next trip there. BIG MISTAKE. I called a month before our visit and made reservations with the owner. Left my credit card...
